Matt Moore should start for the AFC and play the entire game...and before you all judge me for being insane here me out!!!!

Things are not looking good for Matt Moore when even Dolphins players are asking Matt Flynn to join the team

No one takes the stupid Pro Bowl seriously. It's a waste time to watch, probably more so in person. So why not let it be a contest of back ups to play for reps?

Hype: :cmad: but I wanna see my fav players play!! Not Matt Moore.

ME: :awesome: You want to see your fav players jog down the field and only give maybe 60% effort? Cool.

People aren't going to tune in to watch Matt Moore. I think you're the only human being besides Matt Moore that WANTS to see Matt Moore play. :oldrazz:

So many Matts in the NFL

Matt Moore
Matt Cassel
Matt Hasslebeck
Matt Leinart
Matt Ryan
Matt Shaub
Matt Prater
Matt(hew) Stafford

Former Steelers OC Bruce Arians has agreed to become the Colts new OC. He's flying to Indianapolis on Monday to review and sign contract.

Matt the mod will love that.

I hate to be that guy, but I called it three days ago. :woot:

I actually like Pagano for Indy. This isn't a Raheem Morris type of situation where after very little experience as a position coach, they are promoted to DC and then almost instantly promoted to HC. Pagano has been in the business for 20 years as a position coach and spent 10 years doing so in the NFL. He established himself as one of the elite defensive back coaches before becoming Baltimore's DC. Unlike Morris, he has actually paid his dues and earned a shot at wearing the headset.

Plus, Pagano is tough as nails. He can create his own culture (which Indy desperately needs at is has been Peyton's locker room for far too long).

That being said, he won't be the one to groom RG3 or Luck. In fact, I could see Indy bringing in my old buddy Bruce Arians, either as OC or quarterback coach. Arians has ties to the Colts organization. He was Manning's first quarterback coach and groomed Manning into what he is. As long as they don't let him call plays, he would be ideal for grooming Luck or Griffin.

I can't see Jackson going to Indy. He is too combative. Indy does not like controversy. Irsay will veto that one in a heart beat. He's not going to let Indy become the new Baltimore (haha, it's funny to put it that way).

Beyond that, they need someone who either Peyton can work with or who the new quarterback can be groomed by. Jackson would work in neither of those situations. Yes, he worked with Flacco, but the results weren't exactly inspiring. I think Arians fits too well not to bring in.

Indy's only mistake here is letting him call the plays. They should have hired him on as a QB coach.

Though I will say, I wonder if this is a sign that the Colts are going to go RG3 and not Luck? Luck is a pocket passer. Pocket passers do not fit Arians' system (and Arians does not adapt his system to players, he expects players to adapt to his system). Arians does not focus on the run game or the O-line (which are needed for a pocket passer to work, a line for obvious reasons and a run game to keep the defense from nonstop blitzing). It is pure spread and if the protection breaks down he expects the QB to keep the play alive. Luck will get KILLED in that type of system. RG3 on the other hand would fit it well.

I feel sorry for Andrew Luck.

It will be funny if Andrew Luck decides to go back to school for another year. Rather then be on the Colts. Based on the way things are going

Personally, I would love to see it happen like that. I want to see the look on Colts' owner Irsay to see his carefully-laid plan to get rid of everybody and start with Andrew Luck as his franchise QB for the next 10 years go up in smoke.

I actually feel more sorry for the Colts now.

I felt sorry for them until I also heard that Jim Caldfail might be the Steelers' new OC.

Now I feel sorry for Pittsburgh. :csad:

Hopefully it's all bullsh** because I don't want that clueless toolbox anywhere near the Steelers.

The Haterade is highin this thread on Matt Moore. It's ok, Flynn may flop in Miami.

I don't think that Caldwell will be the new OC, I am leaning towards Fitchner becoming the new OC.

It seems Indy is going to hire Pittsburgh's line-backer coach Keith Butler to be their new DC.

Anyone watch Namath on HBO?...It was an amazing film.

I admire the guy so much because he did change the game and won this franchise its only championship.

I wish the Jets as a franchise had the moxy and balls this guy had throughout his career.
A pity the injuries did catch up with him.

Namath was a football icon and it was great to see him go against his idol in Unitas in the Super Bowl.

Its very important to note that Namath who was a gunslinger put the team first that SB3 year especially in the playoffs and rode it all the way with Snell...A legend without a doubt.

Also he probably got the most women out of all the QB's in history lol

Wow, Butler is finally jumping ship? I kind of feel like this is arrogance on the part of the Rooneys. They have forbid Butler from interviewing with countless teams over the years, teams with good defenses already in place. They probably thought he would never take a spot on a team with such a bad defense so they finally let him interview. Guess they underestimated how much he wants a head set of his own.

So who does that make heir apparent to Dick LeBeau? Carnell Lake?

Yup, Lake is it.

My brother is at the Pro-Bowl, he is stationed at Pearl, I'll post the pics he sends me!

Yup, Lake is it.

But will Lake last long enough in Pittsburgh to take the job? I'd imagine if the defensive backs are half as good this year as last, he will be on several teams' radars for a DC position (if not head coach). Then again, the Rooneys have proven in the past that they have absolutely no problem telling someone that they may not interview (but I think that tends to cause bitterness, I think that Butler is very bitter towards the Rooneys for refusing to let him interview with his close friend Ken Whisenhunt twice and that may have led to him accepting the mediocre Colts job). So yeah, will Lake be around long enough to succeed LeBeau?

Also, I don't like the idea of an heir apparent to LeBeau. It makes people complacent. I personally am glad that Butler left. He never impressed me and only seemed to be in line for the job due to seniority. It's not like he built the linebackers or anything. In his eight years, he has always had elite talent to work with. Lake has impressed me more in one season than Butler did in eight as he made something of nothing. That being said, I don't want Lake to think that he is a lock for it.

If the position opens up after next season, I'd like to see some other interviews happen. Lake's former teammate, Kevin Greene for one. He has down an outstanding job in shaping GB's linebacker squad into one that gives the Steelers' a run for their money.

At any rate, I have a terrible feeling that the second it opens up, Tomlin will hire Raheem Morris. I hope I'm wrong....but that's his best friend.

I was just thinking the same in regards to Greene being interviewed if LeBeau retires. He's done a great job in Green Bay. I might be biased though, since he's my all time favorite player.

As much as I'd love to see Greene as Dick LeBeau's successor, Greene has always been a Capers guy. I could see him being perfectly content to wait until his mentor retires and then follow in his foot steps.
