Anyone watch Namath on HBO?...It was an amazing film.

I admire the guy so much because he did change the game and won this franchise its only championship.

I wish the Jets as a franchise had the moxy and balls this guy had throughout his career.
A pity the injuries did catch up with him.

Namath was a football icon and it was great to see him go against his idol in Unitas in the Super Bowl.

Its very important to note that Namath who was a gunslinger put the team first that SB3 year especially in the playoffs and rode it all the way with Snell...A legend without a doubt.

Also he probably got the most women out of all the QB's in history lol

Yeah, I watched it last night. It was a great documentary. I knew about his accomplishments in the game but they really went into a lot of the off field stuff.

And, yes, he got a LOT of ladies. I'm sure his penis can tell a lot of stories. And MAN could that guy drink! :wow:

It seems like each year more players look miserable being at the Pro Bowl.

I'm watching the Pro Bowl out of boredom. Note to NBC or whoever got that GOD AWFUL band that played at the beginning of the show should be fired. That was the most awful thing I ever saw. Never heard of the band and all I wanted to do was kick that lead singer guy in the nuts.

Because he's a good quarterback? And Ben and Wallace hooking up like crazy. They should have just put out the whole Steelers team. :oldrazz:

Seriously, I'd rather see a 3rd place game here than the Pro Bowl. You have each team that lost in the Conference final and have them play for "3rd Place".

Yeah, I agree Darth. These guys are playing at like not even half speed. The crowd was booing the hell out of them too.

Doug Flutie was getting pretty fired up there and I agree with him too. People paid decent money to come see you...at least freakin' play like you want to be there. Sheesh.

Yeah that hand off was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen.

I miss guys like Sean Taylor who played full speed.:csad:

TD! NFC! Rogers to Fitz..........again. Love the surprize off-side kick!

Haha...NFC gets on onside kick and a bomb to Larry Fitzgerald for another TD. Well, at least there are SOME players out there trying.

How do Green Bay have three starting defensive guys, as bad as their defense was?

Big Ben throws an INT. HA!

Well, they caught a break there. NFC throwing those laterals and now the AFC somehow got it back. Kind of a crazy play there.

Nice play by AJ Green there. Big Ben to AJ Green. That's quite an interesting thing. A Steeler throwing a TD to a Bengal. :oldrazz:

Out of curiosity, why isn't Harbaugh coaching the AFC? Isn't it determined based on the head coach with the best record who doesn't make the Super Bowl? Did he turn it down?

Oakland's Seabash has 2 points. Yes, to matt ? as far as before the Conf final.

It seems like the coaches of the teams that lost in the divisional round got the nod. Or not, I have no idea really.

Beats me. I thought that it just had to do with who chose the best coach in the conference. I really don't know how it works with the coaches.

AFC with another TD. Well at least it's a competitive game now. Seems that the players are trying a lot more now. Someone must have told their asses to play and stop being on vacation.

It's always been my understanding that the Pro Bowl coaches are determined by the coaches with the best record who do not make the Super Bowl.
