Hey 'Fire, maybe they should replace him with Mularkey? He seems to know how to keep an offense from scoring :hehe:

The Steelers loss fallout is entertaining on the local news. People are already calling for Tomlin's head. I love this city. :oldrazz:

If Denver and Tebow get manhandled by the Patriots it'll REALLY make the Steelers look even worse. So, if you're the Steelers, Tomlin, etc...you're hoping for a Superbowl run from the Broncos.

...but...but...but...our boys were so injured. :csad:

Steelers are supposed to be resilient. :oldrazz: They just ended up playing one of their worst games of the season at the very wrong time. And they freakin' added more fuel to the fire with these Tebow worshiping people. :cmad:

I knew it. This loss will haunt the Steelers for a long time.

Rumor going around a Falcons message board I visit is that Mularkey is already gone but the Falcons aren't announcing it, so not to hurt his HC chances.
You'd think that being shut out offensively in the playoffs would've hurt his chances enough...

When I look at the NFC, I can honestly say that I think the Packers are worst team of the remaining four. Besides maybe 3 games, they haven't looked that great at all this year, sure they keep winning but you can only win by a touchdown or a field goal so many times before it burns you. Now both the Saints and Giants are red hot, Giants look better than they did back when they won the Super Bowl and nobody is stopping Drew Brees anytime soon.

So Josh McDaniels is back with the Pats. Didn't he spill some info about the whole spygate deal?

Alright, this is taking it too far. The Packers have won 15 games, the Giants have won 9 counting last Sunday. Sure they have momentum, losing to the Redskins, beating the Jets and Cowboys right when both where collapsing and a Falcons team that only had John Abraham show up to play, but thats way more impressive than going 15-1. :cwink:

Well, the question was asked what would the Texans do if they won the Super Bowl.

That's easy. They'd gloat at about the fact that TJ Yates has more playoff wins than Tony Romo.

I think that Houston keeps both Yates and Schaub. Leinart won't be back. Yates would probably be the backup option for QB Needy teams just in case Green Bay decides to keep Matt Flynn. Teams can get Flynn for free rather than lose draft picks to get Yates.

- Derek Mason has retired.
- Atlanta loses DC Brian Van Gorder to Auburn.

Yeah. One piece of good news that came out of the fallout is that Hines Ward put the local media in their place about his whole retirement thing. He stated he'll be sticking around for a little while longer. So, that's something decent. He's one of the few players on the team that I actually like. Him and Max Starks...and I'm talking about meeting in real life. I've met a decent amount of the players on the Steelers team and a lot of them are in that attitude that their poop don't stink. Especially Roethlisberger.

The Jaguars have been interested, I expected that to come this week regardless of the game's outcome. But yeah, scoring zero points is a great impression to make.

It's interesting that Smith came from Jacksonville, Mularkey is most likely going there, and I'm sure the Falcons will be looking into Mel Tucker and Jack Del Rio for DC, both former Jacksonville guys.

So the Jags want a bunch of Mularkey huh?

I know, that's a bad pun.

Being a Giants fan, I wouldn't say we are a better team now then we were in 2007...but it is damn close. Our defense is absolutely amazing at the moment with the exception of our secondary. With the secondary, it is good but not great and could show improvement for the Packers game and the possible conference championship/SB.

Eli is playing just great, and there are a lot of weapons there. There are no ugly or distinct flaws in our offense right now, as of this moment.

If we play like we have been lately, carrying this momentum, we could definitely beat the Packers Sunday. I was at the game during the season and it was damn close. I respect the Packers very much, but I don't want to see them in the championship or possibly the Bowl again.

I just realized...Andrew Luck looks like a dweeb.

Just about every single one of the Packers victories have been close. They had like maybe 3 blow outs this year but nothing of them have been spectacular. Their defense is awful, they're last place in the league for a reason. Packers biggest problem is that they let every team they play stay in the game. The Saints have gotten way way better since the beginning of the season when the two played and the Giants over the past few weeks have looked like a team to be reckoned with. I haven't even touched on the 49ers and their phenomenal defense. You can't keep any 3 of these teams close towards the end of the game because they will indeed beat you. Henceforth the Packers aren't my favorite in the NFC not even close.

If the Packers think they are going to have a walk in the park with the Gmen, they are in for a rude ass awakening.

But that is extremely doubtful considering we lost by a field goal and it came down to the wire last time.

Just like with the Falcons(even though they had much worse problems yesterday), if the Packers make mistakes...we will take advantage of them.
