It's not opening Pandora's Box, since that box, of players forcing trades, has already been opened for a long time. Hello Jay Cutler?

I think Brown just didn't want to open that box for his team. Players have been trying to force trades forever, way before Cutler.

Still a bad football decision for the Bengals, though.

NY Giants players continue to drop like flies.

Hixon out with a torn ACL.

That's what they get for beating the Rams!!

Sincerely,
Mike Patrick

The guy who said MSU coach Mark Dantonio's heart attack after last year's Notre Dame win was due to God being pissed at him.

I feel for teams like the Giants and Chiefs whose rosters are getting decimated. The only thing worse than a bad season is one where you aren't able to show your a-game.

I knew this was gonna happen back in july when the lockout was still going on, Yes all freak accidents but there bodies might have been in better shape with a proper offseason conditioning. Its a shame to see guys go down though.

I have come to the conclusion that the Dolphins have more Press Conferences then practices. That explains a lot

So, who do you guys think will be the first coach to be given the boot this year? Wade Phillips was fired after week 8 last year. Do you think that there will be any midseason firings? I could see Tony Sparano being shown the door prior to the end of the season. Maybe Del Rio or even Turner if the Chargers are in a bad spot.

these guys can and do condition themselves for the most part. I wouldn't blame it on that. OTA's and the like are mostly used for playbook installation, but really the conditioning aspect doesn't change form year to year.

Personality + Romeo Crennel = Todd Hailey.

As long as he takes the GM, owner and Marc Anthony with him.

How did I miss this on Monday?

To think, you guys could've had Cowher if Steve Ross just fired Jeff Ireland.

We could have had a lot of players if not for people making dumb decisions.

Think about how differently the NFL and the country in general would have been if the Fins would have signed Drew Brees. He would've been remembered as an average quarterback with injury issues and the Saints would probably still be reeling from Katrina.

The Oklahoma City Saints would probably have ended up drafting Matt Ryan.

I like how he continues plaing to the camera after it hits the guy's face...

Speaks volumes about a linebackers priorities. 'Check he's ok? That's what the commercial break's for. This is my "face time"!' :hehe:

Del Rio should've been gone last season. Sparano will most likely be gone if the Dolphins are in a position to draft a top QB. There seems to be a trend of new coach/new QB in the past couple years.

Aaron Curry is now on Seattle's bench. One bust no one saw coming. High character, great production, impressive measurables.

^ Think Curry is more of a round peg in a square hole. He wasn't drafted by the Pete Carroll regime for that scheme their running now.

He didn't look great his rookie year either.

Versatility was suppose to be one of the big selling points for Curry. It is not as if Pete Carrol moved to a 3-4 and asked Aaron Curry to become a rush OLB, he is being asked to run, cover and hit. That was what he did well at Wake Forest.

There is a big difference between working out on your own and doing ota's and conditioning programs with coaches. Do you really think most of these guys did high impact workouts on there own for the entrie lockout?

Bears-Packers Week!

Love the excitement, hate the Packers.

I need Jennings and Starks to blow the Bears up. I have Forte on my other FF team but oh well :o
