Peyton just needs to hang it up. He's had an amazing career, and there is no sense in risking further neck injuries. Retire with dignity Manning, and don't be like whats his name that played for the Packers for a few years.

I heard Payton has young children, and I think for their sake he should definitely consider hanging it up. He already has a SB ring and millions in the bag, and is getting long in the tooth. He has nothing left to prove but his own ego, and I hope he'll make the decision with his family in mind.

Not good news for the Jets and their fans. Seems like that thing is really starting to implode. If Sanchez has really lost his teammates that bad (and I believe it) things will only get worse.

I don't want to hang all of these on Rex Ryan, but I don't think it's a coincidence that his own players would mimic their coach's ego and loud-mouthness, especially when things are going sour. In a well-run locker room with strong leadership, I doubt things like these would happen.

I agree. Things seem to be getting away from him and don't necessarily see things getting better.

I'm hoping the next OC of the Falcons is smart enough to give this guy a shot

Why draft a guy if you're never gonna try putting him on the field(aside from special teams)

He blew out his knee in his first camp, so that may have something to do with it.

The news about Fisher possibly going to Miami is disturbing. I think the Rams are the better option for obvious reasons, I have heard though that he is nervous about the idea that the Rams may move to LA.

#Jets will hire former Miami coach Tony Sparano as new OC, according to @mortreport.

Not sure how I feel about that ^

Schotty is fired

Literally this is how I feel right now

Schotty resigned, and he was a ****** OC for the Jets anyway.

Maybe my image did not resonate...That is supposed to be a joyful yell there haha How about this?

...I am ecstatic Schotty was fired. ECSTATIC

Todd Haley will be hired as Jets OC to handle the passing game.
Sparano will handle the running game apparently

Jets can hire Sprano to handle their running game all they want, but unless they get a really good RB it probably won't matter very much. LT is about to retire, Greene is coming off a disappointing year, and McKnight...yeah, you got the idea.

That's hysterical. Is it meant as a joke?

I couldn't get through thirty seconds of it without having the urge to throw myself in front of a semi.

It's real. John Parr actually reworked the lyrics to his classic song in honor of Tebow:

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/enterta...nored-with-two-songs-by-st-elmos-fire-rocker/

I love this ridiculous quote:

“It’s that kind of everyday guy that just, that people invest their faith in him, but he’s just ordinary and I love that,” Parr said.

Yes, John. Because all of us ordinary people are physically gifted athletes with multimillion dollar contracts and endorsement deals and ludicrous fan bases who bully our bosses into giving us promotions because we go around telling everyone how much we love Jesus.

What a f***ing idiot.

Not taking the loss well Rows?

Washington Redskins. My dear, beloved, poor Redskins....

We have had a slumping team for quite some years now, and this year looked like we didn't improve anything at ALL.

So Dan Snyder, please, do what you do best (spend big bucks and big trades) and make sure we get our QB of the future; Robert Griffin III

I know Cleveland is also interested and higher than us on the board. So we gotta trade up to 2 with St. Louis as I think they can draft Blackmon there.

C'mon Skins.

Screw the loss. The Steelers were pathetic in that game on both sides of the ball. Granted, injuries certainly played a part in it, but they played like a losing team.

I've been sick of Tebow for months.

I hope they take him too.

But knowing Dan Snyder, he'll probably do something much dumber like pay $45 million for Matt Flynn, who will show up and turn out to be a bust (not because he actually is a bust but because the Redskins will somehow find a way to ruin him).

I hope not though. I'd like to see the 'Skins finally turn it around. But I fear that will never happen until that black lump of tar and dogsh** that Dan Snyder uses for a heart gives out and he dies an agonizing death.

I see. I don't mind Tebow-mania, to be honest. He seems like a good kid and the insane fans who completely ignore his lack of success as a quarterback at the quarterback position just kinda make me laugh.

Shanahan will bench Flynn inexplicably right before the team's final shot at a game winning drive, even though Flynn had played a good game (probably because Flynn will mouth off to Shanahan's son). Three weeks later he will be third string. :(

Yes I also wanted Peyton Manning to join us in the middle of the season. But then I thought about his neck and the uncertainty. Plus maybe he has a solid 2-3 years left?

He would also want a big contract, so we might not be able to get any help around him. (because we have a sub par O line and UNDER sub par receiving core, ugh.)

Griffin would take less money and we could find some established WR's or Lineman in the offseason for some good money.

Plus, I also fear that playing the D line's of the Giants, Cowboys and Eagles twice a year would increase Manning's chances of taking a huge hit. :csad:

Shanahan, man that benching move will never go away

Speaking of him, RG3's fav team growing up the the Bronces. Yea, the Elway, Sharpe, Davis, and good ol Shanny led Broncos.

:hehe: Yeah, probably. But it's okay, 'Skins fans. You'll still have Rex and Beck to kick around. And thus will begin again The Most Pathetic Quarterback Competition of All Time, Round II.

Start Rex, and he'll pair a 24 TD season with a 24 INT season (if you're lucky). 8 wins, at best.

Start Beck, and he'll pair a 0 passing TD/4 rushing TD season with a 16 INT season (again, if you're lucky). 3 wins in the pre-season, at best.

The Broncos should trade up in the draft and get him. Imagine how that would play out. I'd love to see all the crazy Tebow supporters going batsh** out of their minds over that one.
