Tebow will be a good qb in this league..the broncos as a team Suck.
Give him a line and a few weapons..HE WILL SUCCEED:cmad:

Tebow can't work behind anything but a Shotgun formation, and if you force him to throw for any play except Screen Pass, he'll struggle. I do agree that Broncos as a team suck, but Tebow isn't a good QB, either.

The season is kind of bitter-sweet for me. Sure we're winning and we're off to a great start, but the one thing I wish we were better at was the passing game and our quarterback situation. Nothing can be changed now and Harbaugh has done a great job with Alex Smith especially with what happened with the lockout. However, we need to get better as time goes on. The 49ers aren't attempting that many passes and that's fine, but in crunch time I really don't have faith in Alex Smith to get a winning score or rather, carry a team. Frank Gore isn't going to be able to run like this forever. And I can't remember a team that ranked near last in passing yards that won the Super Bowl, let alone made it. Smith is a good game-manger at this point, but nothing more. But passing for under 200 yards a game isn't going to cut it in the future when times get tough and the 49ers play tougher teams.

I feel like this team is going to end up like the 2001 Bears, 2003 Ravens, 2003 Cowboys, 2005 Bears, or 2008 Titans. All good defensive teams that had a good run game and made the playoffs, but were one and done because their passing game was not very good at all. Most teams that win the Super Bowl have a good quarterback. That is just how it is unfortunately. I'm already hoping the 49ers are looking at some quarterbacks in this upcoming draft.

I think with such bottom-feeders as Seahawks, Rams, and Cardinals in their division, 49ers will most definitely not just win their division, but have a chance for a bye. However, this is now a very QB-driven league, and Alex Smith, while not a terrible QB as he was in the past, isn't anywhere near elite. Furthermore, Niners have a good but not the amazing kind of defense that Ravens and Bucs did when they won their SB with their average QB, so it is doubtful that they can go far in the playoff when they made it there.

The guy struggles making even the most basic throws. Is it his team's fault that he can't get a firm grasp on simple NFL mechanics?

He's a good kid, but he's not an NFL talent. The fact that he's starting right now is nothing short of a joke, and Denver fans should be embarrassed. The sooner everybody accepts that, the easier this entire thing is going to be.

Whatever gets you to sleep at night...

He needs more than an O-Line and a squad of WRs, he needs talent.

I'm honestly enjoying this. Fans have been hyping him to be the greatest QB in the history of the NFL. At this rate, he'll be fortunate to be remembered... at all (the same way Leaf was remembered).

Cutler is the most sacked QB in the league, so please, stay away from O-line excuses.

Then there is Cam Newton, Christian Ponder, and Andy Dalton -- they all found success on a terrible team and/or first season at the helm.

Tebow's failures are of his own. He simply doesn't have what it takes to be a starting or even a back-up QB.

The Dolphins must be really annoyed now. It is one thing losing to Tim Tebow. But seeing how bad Tim Tebow did yesterday just shows that the Dolphins are worse then Tim Tebow

Yep, collectively, the Dolphins played worse than Tebow did last week. Ouch...

Hey Raider fans, are you ready for some football???!! :awesome:

You know who I really like for the Miami job? Russ Grimm. Miami needs some toughness. Look at their division, the Patriots, the Jets, the Bills...these are teams that when you hit them hard enough, they fall apart. I know everyone says that they should draft Luck and try to become the new Colts, but I see that as a mistake. Not so much drafting Luck, but basing their entire future around him. I'd love to see Miami bring in a guy like Grimm. A tough, hard hitting, blue collar football coach. I like the idea of bringing in Grimm and letting him coach them like an AFC North team.

Aren't Jets playing like an AFC North team already, with ground attack and a tough defense, thanks to Rex Ryan? Personally, I think both Colts and Fins are doing the "Suck for Luck" right now, so I'm not going to feel sorry for their losses, since this is what they're gunning for anyway.

Maybe, but I feel like the Jets do not really know what they want their offense to be. Some weeks they will put it entirely on Sanchez. Others they will try to pound it through defenses on the ground. I blame Schotty Jr. for this. He just can't seem to figure out an identity for the team. And oddly enough, it seems like he picks the weirdest weeks to make Sanchez shoulder the load. He'll do it when they are playing a team like Pittsburgh or Baltimore who can really smack their offense around and put the hurt on them.

And for the record, I don't think that the Colts are trying to suck for Luck. Yeah, Polian is playing coy and saying that he won't rule it out (but I think that may be to increase what they get when they trade away the number 1 pick to a team like Miami, if it comes to that). But Charlie Casserly who has a good finger on the pulse of what is going on around the league reported this week that the Colts will DEFINITELY retain Caldwell next season. If Caldwell is coming back, so is Peyton (as there is no way that any GM in their right mind would trust the duty of grooming the young future of their franchise to Caldwell). And the Colts aren't going to draft Luck and give him a 70 million dollar contract to sit on the bench.

Blame Schotty...He is hot garbage

I think you're nuts. Cowher will get in eventually. He may be like Dick LeBeau and get in late in his life, but he'll get in. 10 play-off berths in 15 years, 8 division titles, 6 AFC Championship appearances and 2 Super Bowl appearances. Cowher is the most winning coach of that 90s era generation. He will be in the HOF eventually.
Still you look at innovators like Don Coryell and he's not even in. If Cower gets in, Holmgren gets in and maybe even Shanahan who has more titles.

I'm thinking Landry Jones will land in Indy.

I completely agree about "Air" Coryell.

One thing is certain

Either Landry Jones or Luck end up in a Dolphins uniform

I agree with Matt. If Peyton Manning comes back next season at full health, no way do they draft Luck and sit him for 3-5 years.

After seeing Lions/Broncos highlights this morning, it is my opinion that Tim Tebow throws the ball like it's a sledgehammer.

I've been thinking the same. If they think Manning will be even ready to play in any degree, they will skip on Luck. Someone else will take him to start immediately. His poise and style of play don't require sitting behind someone.

Yep.

Andrew Luck to Miami.
Landy Jones or Matt Barkley to Indy.

Colts have got plenty of holes to fill at the end of the yr, so no ways they draft luck, I say if they get a high draft pick (and they will) they will attempt to trade down a bit and take Matt Barkley and use the additional picks to fill their other holes .

Guys as much as I would like to see the Raiders goto L.A...I also would like to see the Jags goto L.A. as well. Let them play in one of the propose stadium and the Raiders in the other.

NO way let him sit a few yrs groom him slow
But they have way to many holes to fill on defense
