Luck will probably be one of the most NFL-ready quarterbacks to come out of the draft in years.

No way does he sit. He's a first-day starter.

Luck will simply be a good QB, don't believe the hype of him being the next Brady or Rogers.

I'm not even going to watch the game. The Chargers should be 1-5, they need a wake up call and Turner gone.

Wow. Glad I didn't start Marmalard Laserface on my fantasy team this week.

I bet that, at the end of this season, if you gathered up all the balls he's thrown for interceptions, you could fill up rivers.

The refs are really sucking bad tonight.....hell, they have been sucking bad this season and for the past few years.

How was that KC fumble not reversed? His ass was on the ground before the ball popped out.

Nicknames for Week 8:

Philip "11 Picks and Counting" Rivers

Rob "Dirk Diggler" Gronkowski

Ben "Bradyslayer" Roethlisberger

Stephen "Tebowed Your Ass" Tulloch

John "0 Points = 0 Wins" Beck

Troy "Punch Out" Polamalu

Tim Tebown3d

Joe "The Weakest Link" Flacco

Colt "Water Pistol" McCoy

Curtis Fainter

Rob Cryin'

Chris "CJ-1/2K" Johnson

Miami "PLEASE, NO MOORE!" Dolphins

When asked about the possibility of the Raiders picking up 37-year-old Terrell Owens, this is what Carson Palmer had to say:

Carson Palmer said:
T.O. and I had a great working relationship. He had one of his most successful years over the past five or six years, a lot of production, and he was a great teammate in Cincinnati. The problem is that for him to get here there's not anybody that we could let go.

We have a stable of young horses that can run and guys that can just move. Very young, very inexperienced, but tons of potential and it's tough to give up a young guy with a lot of potential for a guy that's got a lot of history in the league that's in his late 30s, so I can't see him coming here, but I had a good time playing with him and he's an explosive player himself.

Now Adam Schefter is reporting that Palmer is pushing for the Raiders to sign 34-year-old TJ Houshmandzadeh.

The Chargers WERE showing some life there. The keyword now being "WERE". As much as it pains me to say it...Rivers needs to stop trying to hit Gates and just worry about getting a damn touchdown.

However, if he does hit Gates that's fine with me because I need those fantasy points to win I'm down by freaking 1.90 points! :cmad:

The woes haven't been on Rivers. The Chiefs D is doubling Gates, Flowers has shutdown Jackson, and Floyd hasn't gotten open.

Rivers has come alive but he can't do it all alone.

Chargers back in it thanks to Brinkley. Nice couple of plays there.

Well...the Chargers had it wrapped up and then Rivers fumbles it. Wow. Just wow....

I don't care if the Chargers do win in OT, I'm counting it as another loss.

They're 1-6 in my book. My Chargers need to f**king step it up.

Man, I am on the edge of my seat!

I should probably scoot back.

Great game!

Rivers looks about as uninterested as anyone can.

A botched snap by Rivers lol

Rivers is quickly turning into this era's Marino

FAILip Rivers! Not only is he a brat, but he's got the butterfingers to boot. And with that, the Chiefs have ripped off four straight and are back in the hunt! And after I genuinely thought we could go 0-16 at one point this season.

I still think the Chargers win that division. Both teams are 4-3 at this point and anything can happen. Still a lot of football left to be played. San Diego definitely has regressed compared to last season and something is wrong with Rivers.
