Do you guys think Giants or Cowboys will win NFC East? Giants are supposed to be the better team, but they lost to a Vick-less Eagles team who have nothing to play for, and the Cowboys barely won against an inferior Redskins team. Since these two still have 2 games to play against each other, they will probably determine the division winner.

Both teams are like predicting the stock market. You never know what is going to happen with them.

I think the Giants will but you really never know with those teams, haha.

Giants played an Eagles team that was desperate and didn't seem prepared for how hard that defense was going to play. I'm predicting the Giants come back out for some vengeance and take the division.

Romo seems to really being firing on all cylinders but the team is just really flaky...they also played a team that had nothing to lose but pride...so, also another great game to watch.

Jay Cutler has had a horrendous OL...But this injury is on him, he threw the INT and went to tackle and got hurt.

I think he's a tough player, he has been abused alot...O-Line is so critical, which is why I am not 100% sure the Packers will repeat. The O-Line for that team is the only weak link.

Ehhhh, I don't know about that. Newhouse has been covering for injured guys (and we threw him against the best and put him on Jared Allen against the Vikings). I think when games mean more our line will look better because we won't be doing things like that to test the new guys, we'll be going with what has the best chances for success.

Biggest question mark to me is whether our secondary has the speed to cover deep. Woodson's not as fast as he was anymore and is getting by more on guile and reads than on his athletic ability these days.

If a team can establish the run on us as well as stretch the field they'll have a chance on us, but I don't know too many teams that can at the moment.

We're prone to being a little inconsistent in terms of the pass rush as well. Something that doesn't mix well with the question mark of our ability to cover the deep ball.

Fortunately though, our offense has been able to cover a lot of that.

Cowboys are my pick.

Giants have one of the most difficult stretches coming up

(Saints, Packers, 2 games with Cowboys, etc)

But these divisional games against each other are going to decide the division.

At both 6-4, the Giants have a tougher schedule than the Cowboys. Then again, I'm not entirely sold on the Cowboys.

I think it depends on wins the games against each other. I'd favor the Cowboys based on schedule, but Giants could make them up by beating the Cowboys.

Does anyone know how did the Dallas Cowboys end up in the NFC East?

It's strange considering a Dallas team from the east.

More interesting question, do you think the Bears will hang on and make the playoffs?

@ Raiders
Broncos
Chiefs
Seahawks
@Packers
@Vikings

Historical rivalries, I would say. Dallas has been a rival of the East teams for years. Why break that up?

Without Cutler it may be a tough on to assess. They do have a great defense and if anyone is dumb enough to kick it to Hester that could help...I think they can still make it based on D and special teams.

Matt Moore. Dolphins D. O-Line Passing Protection. Keys for Dolphins win Thursday. Oh and can Bush make it 4 in a row with a rushing TD? 3 good games on Thursday.

Really interested to see waht the Dolphin faithful is saying about all this. They are slowly taking themselves out of the Matt Barkley race as well

I dunno. Lions have shown that they can play from behind against bad to mediocre teams. But they couldn't do it against Chicago, they couldn't do it against San Fran and they couldn't do it against Atlanta. I think that Green Bay is going to come out strong and early. Score 3 to 4 touchdowns in the first half, while that mean GB defense holds Stafford and co. to 1 and I don't think that they let them come back in the second half.

We were beating SF basically that entire game until the final 1:45. Not sure that's a great barometer for "comeback" ability or lack thereof.

I think you're also overestimating the GB defense. For the most part, they've been mediocre at best this season, especially the secondary. Rodgers has just been unstoppable.

I'm not saying the Lions will beat them, but given the past few games between the teams, it's not outrageous to think they'll be close.

Our secondary's been getting picks and not much else this year... especially deep.

To be honest, the thought of covering a Calvin Johnson or a Larry Fitzgerald scares the s*** out of me.

When Dallas came to the NFC East, the NFC East had been known as the NFL Capitol Division. It had nothing to do with East teams, as both Dallas and the New Orleans Saints were in that division.

When the AFL and NFL merged, the NY Giants took the place of the Saints, and then the Cardinals (who were in St. Louis at the time, not Arizona) were also added.

Then the Cardinals moved to Arizona in 1988, but stayed in the NFC East until 2002. The reason the Cowboys don't/won't change is, like people said, because of the historic rivalries that have already been formed from being in the same division with the Redskins, Eagles, and Giants for all this time.

I say we should draft a QB anyway. Matt Moore did this once before. Came in for an injured QB, looked really good for the rest of the season, stunk it up next season.

You follow college fball?

Landry Jones? RGIII?

Tough, apparently according to ESPN (:whatever:) Andrew Luck is garbage now and RGIII is going to be the #1 pick. I would love if the Fins got Matt Barkley. Landry Jones, I'm not sold on for some reason.

Matt Moore had one good game last season. He just didn't have much to work with. Basically set up to fail. But yes, Miami needs to draft a QB. Even if Miami were to run the table, finish 9-7, still draft a QB first round. Just let Moore prove he can be the starter.

If you can pick either Luck or Barkley, who would you pick as #1? I know Luck has been the no. 1 college QB for two years now, but this year Barkley has actually gotten about the same number stat-wise as Luck, and I think you can't go wrong with either pick as your future franchise QB.

This is really hard for me to say but Sam Bradford has regressed. His accuracy is off and he has no rythym with any receivers. I know we have had injuries but a good QB can surpass that. Then again I think The Rams are the team affected the most by the Lockout and loss of a good off season. Always next year.

things change....how is Carolina in the NFC South? Id put Dallas in the NFC South and move either Carolina or Tampa into the NFC East

Im a Giants fan and I hate Dallas...to the point to where if I didn't have to share the division with them, Id live a happier life
