Dolphins and Falcons with wins, helps the the many AFC teams situations for the long run.

Philip Rivers has been terri-bad. Norv will get fired.

Ravens do not look all that great, but were around long enough to finish the game...Bengals are going to be very good down the road, not this year though.

...so my Colts lost again. Oh wait, they're being spared another loss this week due to a bye week.

Are you excited for Andrew Luck?
&
Do you think Peyton will be around next season with the Colts?

Luck would be a good addition. As for Peyton, I would really hate to think that I'll never see him play in a Colts uniform again. Neck injuries are very serious though.

Game. Just saw scoreline of 49-35 with 2 minutes left. Blah.

You think Dan Connor would beast it at LB with all the playing time hrs gotten in last two seasons. Nope. Decent back up, just not a starter.

Yes, I agree. Same with Larry English at San Diego.

Carolina needs to draft nothing but DBs and LBs this upcoming draft. Cam Newton will improve next year so the Defense needs to come alive.

I disagree. He's an elite QB.

Agreed. He's definitely one of the top tier QB's. Just seems to be having a bad season and lots of bad breaks. Watched a good bit of the Chargers/Chicago game and he was really on fire. Tossed an interception he meant to throw away, there was a fumble that wasn't his fault...he needed some help from his D...they gave up a ton of big plays to Chicago's passing attack.

Didn't I say earlier this year everyone was sleeping on the Bears, and that was unwise? That team is hot.

Couldn't agree more.

Norv Turner's play selection is also to blame. It was ultra conservative, and Rivers had problems with it.

2nd and 25, and Norv calls for a screen against the Bears' D (a defense with great speed and is known for halting screen plays)???!!!

Yeah, Norv is not really helping the team at all. I mean Vincent Jackson was TEARING it up. He had like over 160 yards in reception yards. At one point he almost had more yards than the entire Bears offense. Rivers has so many weapons to throw to...they should have taken more shots down the field and it may have beena much different game.

Exactly. He didn't even utilize Ryan Mathews in the passing game from what I remember.

Ryan isn't the greatest when arriving to receptions but his speed could have provided some cushion for Rivers and the offense.

Man, Jackson's performances have gone to waste. Just depressing...

Well, looks like Cutler's out for the season with a broken thumb. There goes any chances we had. :cmad:

Why doesn't Chris Collinsworth just get it over with and propose to Vince Young.

I see Chicago bringing in either David Garrard or bringing back 120 year old Todd Collins, who as I recall backed up Vinnie Testaverde with the Canton Bulldogs in 1921.

I can't believe the Giants lost that one. They were going for the tie there and Manning got stripped badly. That Eagles defense was playing hard. It was do or die for them the Giants seemed not to be expecting that at all.

Young even tossed three interceptions too! :wow:

For those of you who are unaware, every ingle tem in the NFC East chokes when it matters the most. It's pretty astonishing.

I think Bears prob give Hanie a chance before going to anyone else.

Todd Collins? That would be a terrible decision. He was atrocious in the NFC Championship game last year and limited action when Cutler got hurt. A lot worse than Calib Hanie. And if I remember correctly David Garrard has an issue with his back. Might not even be able to pass a physical. I don't think bringing him in during this time of the year is going to do much either. He'd have to learn the offense and get accustomed to his receivers in a week. I don't think Garrard would want to go there anyways.

Hanie has potential....

I'd expect Matt Leinart to well....play like Matt Leinart (more incompletions then completions, a bunch of turnovers, sacked several times and at least 4 co-eds banged)
