Indeed..no one could have forseen the Colts being this bad.

This is what happens when your entire team is built around one player. And the sad part is, Bill Polian is looking like he is going to make the same damn mistake and draft Luck rather than fix the countless other problems the team has.

hes our radio game announcer and there is literally no connection to the child toucher, poor gerry has to keep saying this whereever he goes in balmer.

Man, talk about an unfortunate name. I think I'd have to start using my middle initial as part of my professional name or something to indicate that I wasn't that dude.

Brilliant. Bears can pick him up and the Tebow worshippers can live or die with their guy.

Well played, sir.

I think right now the Colts are so used to having a dominating QB who does all the work for them (like Payton Manning did), that they're hoping Luck would turn out to be Payton II and pick up where his predecessor left off. Right now the only thing that stands between Colts and Luck is if Luck decided to remain at Stanford for the last year of his eligibility, which I don't see happening.

Texans have signed Kellen Clemens, so I think they are officially out of the list of teams who may sign Orton.

Orton's like 80 times better than Clemens.

That doesn't explain why they'd sign Clemens and not Orton.

I'm imagine Houston is content with Leinart and isn't interested in bringing in someone to compete with him, only back him up. Plus, they'd have to pay Orton more.

Houston is content with Leinart, but he will get the blame (as well as Gary Kubiak and whoever the GM is) if Houston fails to make the playoffs.

Of course, if Houston fails to make the playoffs this year, Kubiak will probably stay.

Surprised that Seattle isn't interested in Orton.

I know that Kolb turned out to be a turd, but when he was one of the hottest FA in the off season, Seahawks had a chance to get him too, but opted to get Whitehurst instead. And they could've kept Hasselbeck (who is doing well in Tennessee) and avoided all these QB controversies in the first place. I just don't understand what they are thinking exactly over there at the Seahawks organization, to be frank.

The Seattle front office and coaching staff were probably high when they thought they could turn Tavaris Jackson into an NFL QB.

A lot of teams are passing on Orton right now because of his price tag. Once (If) he clears waivers, teams could then negotiate a better price.

That seems likely. Most teams will pass on him, then Chicago or KC will get him at a reduced price. Probably Chicago.
