Suh, has some nerve appealing the 2 game suspension.

I'm assuming he's appealing it on the grounds of "Two games?!? Pfft... I've done much worse stuff than that and you didn't give me any..."

If I'm Goodell I'm retracting the 2 game suspension, and suspending him for the season, playoffs, and banning him from Ford Field and the practice field.

What was his excuse again?

He was "trying to get his balance," or something like that?

NFLPA appeals every player suspension.

This suspension is a larger issue than with just Suh, according to one source. The NFLPA wants to try to prevent other players involved in similar incidents from being suspended in the future

Guess it's a good thing that the appeals dont go to Goodell then.

Ok, well im indian so I thought Pakistan was part of Southeast asia, but India seems to be Southeast asia.

However part of pakistan is included

http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/map_of_southeast_asia.htm

That might not be the best site to use. Mainly because if you look at Asia as a whole, India is located South and Pakistan is located west of that.

Here is the Association of South East Asian Nations.

ESPN is reporting that Jack Del Rio has been fired.

That's a pity in my eyes. Del Rio is a good coach who got caught up with the smallest market in the NFL and ownership who wouldn't spend because of it. I hope he gets another shot one day.
Eh. It's been nine years. After a while the coach has to take some responsibility. He was the one who decided to bench Brunell in favor of Leftwich, cut Leftwich a few years later after naming him the starter (which worked out that season), and then decide to get rid of Garrard in favor of Luke McCown who was benched after two games. He's last more years there than Tom Coughlin did and has had a worse tenure. If Coughlin was able to have a lot of success in Jacksonville (which he did) Del Rio could have as well.

Have we had our fill of self-righteous moral grand-standing yet?

Was Suh wrong? Damn right. Did he deserve some kind of discipline. Yes. Is this even anything close to what he's done before? No. Is this even in the same league as Hayneworth trying to decapitate Andre Gurode? Not evne close.

Give him time ...

He also did himself no favors with the lame excuse and weak *** "apology".

The guy seems like a real tool.

Then Andy Reid is long due.

Its almost the same crap geographically...Let ASEAN create their asian nation club.

But it's not.

That's like saying Illinois is in the Northeast or Arizona is in the Southeast.

It must be because India is a subcontinent, which why its territory is part of Southeast Asia.

And your example is incorrect..Northeast of USA can be considered to some as District of Columbia, but it officially is not listed under that region.

Arizona and Illinois does not make sense....

Btw, lets get back on topic here...NFL has its first minority owner...Nice.

Just like including Pakistan which is located on the western side of the continent as part of Southeast Asia doesn't make any sense.

double post...

SHH is really slow and lagging

I was making a point about India, not Pakistan.......

Again, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) doesn't include India.

Other websites state it's west of India and South of China.

Again.

Anyway, unto NFL news.

Have no fear Texans fan, hope is arriving in the form of Jake Delhomme.

Then Andy Reid is long due.
Not really. Andy Reid has made the playoffs 9 times in 13 years and made some deep playoff runs.

Del Rio made it twice in 9 years and never got past the divisional round. Huge difference.

In the past 7 years including this one, the Eagles only made to the Conference Championship once.

Kind of agree. This is also a game where there is TONS of physical contact. Shannon Sharpe was saying it best on the CBS pregame show. There are a LOT of dirty players that are way worse than Suh in the past, and probably present. Players at the bottom of piles stepping on fingers, poking people in the eyes, stepping on wrists, etc.

It's football. American football. Not lets all sit around in a circle and sing songs together. Players are paid to hit people and make it hurt. To take them out of the game or end their career? No. But a lot of those players who take the field know the dangers. The dude needs to control himself, no doubt, but if I'm his coach I tell him to use that aggression to sack the damn quarterback instead of trying to push some lineman's head into the ground after the whistle is blown. :oldrazz:
