Dude, get over it...Raiders never get those calss and Peyton/Colts get phantom calls all the time....well they use to when Peyton was playing. Besides, that TD catch...he took three steps before the ball was knocked out. Don't give me this stuff about wobbling....they are calling catches these day incomplete cause a ball wobble in the hand or because the ball touch the ground seconds later after the reciever catch, control, and break the plain. This rule about maintaining control just open up the plays to interpretation and fixing games. I will never for the call against both the Chargers and Steelers when playing the Colts.

Yeah, it is pretty weak. But this is what ESPN and NFL do best. They make stories where there aren't any, particularly when it comes to the Ol' Gunslinger.

ESPN and the NFL Network are having Favre withdrawls and are trying to replace him with Tim Tebow.

I don't think Schaub is coming back anytime soon.

I wonder when the Rooney rule will be axed out. Within 20 years I hope it is. I'd be really surprised if the NFL isn't passed racial stereotypes when they look for a head coach in the NFL. We've seen enough black coaches in the NFL have success. Now it's just looking like the NFL wants to keep a clever PR image, when in reality it's a stupid rule.

One has to think the NFL will someday catch on that no coach or owner takes the rule seriously.

Man, I hadn't realized how depleted the Chargers O-Line was... they're basically using third-stringers.

Yeah, I think they had just picked up a guy from the Chiefs this week and he's playing now...probably why the Jaguars D line is practically walking in on Rivers.

Well, Chargers just scored another TD..so now their back up.

If the Chargers keep this up then 13 points for me in Pick'em

Yeah, I think they had just picked up a guy from the Chiefs this week and he's playing now...probably why the Jaguars D line is practically walking in on Rivers.

They're responding a bit better now to protecting Rivers, but yeah, Philip had to make a few passes on the run in the second quarter.

Rowsdower, I want a new addition of "THIS GUY" tonight. Make it happen .

Agreed. Philip and Blaine are both great candidates.

Haha, didn't you guys see my latest edition of THIS GUY yesterday? With special appearances by Collinsworth and Wilcots? :D

Okay, here ya go.

THIS GUY... lemme tell ya about this guy Blaine Gabbert. Ummm... yeah. Geez, this is a tough one even for me.

Ummmm... Jaws, you got anything?

Heh.

Okay look, I know the kid is raw, but he's young. He looks the same this week as he did early on in the season. He's been sacked on every Jacksonville drive and he has an affinity for hitting his receivers in the knees. But I see some upside here. I mean, just look at this kid's draft class. He was drafted in the same class as stars like Cam Newton and Andy Dalton. Hell, he was even drafted before Dalton so that means he just might be better. But ya gotta get someone who can mold him. Someone like... well, ya know, someone like the offensive coordinator in Cincy... his name escapes me right now... but yeah, that guy. He molded Dalton into a Pro-Bowl quarterback.

That's what they've gotta do! They need to bring in someone like that OC in Cincy. I guarantee that had they not had such a BRILLIANT mind up there working with the Red Rider BB Gun, that kid would be an average quarterback at best. But when you have a GENIUS as your OC, there's no end to where you can go. So, you know, since Del Rio is gone anyway, I say you bring in someone like, you know, that guy in Cincy, make him your head coach, give him unlimited power, throw him about $25 million guaranteed, and let him transform Gabbert into a winner!

Did Gruden just do a this guy about Tim Tebow during the Jacksonville/San Diego game? Wow, ESPN. :funny:

Ugh... and of course, Gruden is the latest to go on a Tebow knobslobbering rant.

I can see NBC and ESPN continuing to torture NFL fans by showing primetime Jacksonville games just because it gives them an opportunity to remind us all that TIM TEBOW IS FROM JACKSONVILLE AND THEY WOULD BE UNDEFEATED IF THEY HAD JUST BEEN SMART ENOUGH TO DRAFT HIM.

I really want Fisher here in STL, oh and get Devaney the **** out the guy can't draft for ****.

Gold as always, Rowsdower.

I love how Gruden comes up with a nickname for everyone.

"I call this guy The Mechanic."
"I call this guy The Rocket."

LOL yeah. Thanks, man.

Good God, Gabbert is a friggin' moron. That stupid fumble deserves an appearance on C'Mon Man!

Yeah, I don't know what the dude was doing there. He was running just drops the ball..could have just let it roll out of bounds but he smacks it out, haha.
