I don't get it either. Now a touchdown from the Browns gives them the lead. Why not make it a TD ties? It just defies conventional football logic. Just another one of Tomlin/Arians' ****** calls.

Yeah, the D did stop them but the way the Steelers D plays sometimes all they had to do was break a big play and the Steelers are down. Also...don't know why the did four running plays in a row like that. Could have taken a shot over to Wallace or Miller.

The Steelers D plays bad sometimes because the stupid decisions from the offense keep them on the field for too long. Case in point.

Of course, it won't be long. Roethlisberger won't be like Manning or Brady and last much past 33-34. His type of play is too physical.

I called it. I drafted him in the 14th round of the SHHFFL and everyone mocked me when I said he would be the sleeper pick of the year. But it was pretty clear from training camp on that Arians intended to use him.

This game makes me feel very worried about the future of the Steelers. Defense aside, the players are winning IN SPITE of their coaches. That RIDICULOUS call of 4th and 1. And throwing in that situation. It doesn't matter what the results are. The Steelers coaches continue to make calls that just defy football logic.

This is still mainly Bill Cowher's team. I shudder to think of what Mike Tomlin's team is going to look like.

I know. Tomlin was basically given a GREAT football team and he's still finding ways to screw the pooch with such great weapons. I say maybe in a few years things will begin to shift to where he'll be building his own team and, it's hard for me to say as a Pittsburgher and Steelers fan, it's just going to be sad. They'll go back to playing like they did in the late 80's and early 90's right before Cowher came aboard.
