2011 is shapping up to be one of the best years in movie history, Blockbuster-wise. Here's a short list of what we'll get in that year:

. Sucker Punch.
. Mission: Impossible 4.
. Kung-Fu Panda 2.
. Cars 2.
. Thor.
. The Fist Avenger: Captain America.
. Spider-Man 4.
. Green Lantern.
. Batman 3.
. Pirates of Caribbean 4.
. Transformers 3 (Maybe).
. Star Trek 2.
. The Hobbit.
. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2.

And much more.

It's going to be a war. :wow:

Which are your most antecipated movies for 2011? Do you think it'll deliver? Etc.

Discuss.

you mean Deathly Hallows Part 2

and Batman 3 im still seeing 2012

but yeah 2011 is looking to be nuts but wait its two years from now, hahah.

bring on 2010

I hope to god that we get Batman III in 2011!

I don't see Transformers 3 happening in 2011. Didn't Bay want to take a tad of a break?

When's The Avengers coming out? And I personally think Summer 2011 will be a cluster**** if some of those films don't spread out a little bit.

TF3 and BB3 are less than .01% chance of falling into 2011, but it will be jam packed nonetheless

batman 3 wont happen in 2011. lets be realistic guys. and i mean really realistic. not like some saying '' he will go from Inception on to B3.'' thats unrealistic .

I want it all. :)

Except for Cars 2. I mean, who wants that ****?

I don't think Pirates 4, Bats 3, or even 1/3rd of those movies will happen in 2011 and even that those movies are gonna have to be spread out from March to November in proper spots so the studios don't lose money.

Out of all the possible Pixar sequels, I'm still shocked this is the one they're planning to make right after Toy Story 3.

You just mentioned a bunch of movies. There is no sure thing that any of them will be something special.

This list effectively demonstrates two trends I'm getting tired of--(1) comic adaptations and (2) everything having sequels.

Right now The Hobbit is the only one I have exceptional interest in.

only in summer time. thats how they make millions. i dont see a problem with them. the more money they make the more money they can invest in those movies.

I also have to say 2011 seems a bit too soon for Star Trek II. I mean, have they even started the screenplay?

From that list missing is Robocop which has got pushed back for a 2011 release and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remake.

looks like robocoop wont get made.

I believe Abrams, Kurtzman, Orci and Lindeof started working on the Script as soon as Star Trek was released.

It's coming out in 2012.

I really doubt Transformers 3 & Batman 3 will come out in 2011. Maybe 2012, which will be another giant year for movie money if so. The Avengers alone could break BO records (if Cap & Thor are well recieved).

I'm looking forward to Cap, Thor, Spidey, Green Lantern & Harry Potter the most. (Not in that order)

Jonny Quest may also make an appearance by the time this comes around.

Maybe they're shoving all the good movie out quick before we all die.:hehe:

I'm still holding out for an Incredibles sequel...

I'd still like to see more originality in summer blockbusters. More thinking up new ideas, less conceiving every potential hit as a franchise.

And although many comic adaptations and some sequels have been good movies, the novelty is wearing off from overexposure.
