From Jay Glazer:

Updating previous items, the Vikings have acquired the 25th overall pick, a 2013 seventh-rounder, and a middle-round pick in 2014 in the Percy Harvin trade.

goddamn it, what a stupid trade. Harvin is too damn good to let go.

Woah.......Harvin/Wilson duo could be lights out.

Edit: If Revis truly does go to the Bucs what the heck can they give them? Some draft picks? No way they are giving up anyone like Martin/Jackson

This is a good year to jump on the Seahawks bandwagon. 49ers/Seahawks games better get two Sunday night and Monday night games.

Well, Seattle trades for a receiver....San Fran trades for a receiver.

Boldin to San Fran for 6th round pick

San Fran is trade raping everyone this year! :wow:

Pro Football Talk:

Well, at least Boldin will still be able to say “Harbaugh” after “Coach.”

Not long after we reported that the Ravens are trying to trade receiver Anquan Boldin, they did.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens have shipped Boldin and his $6 million salary to the 49ers for a sixth-round pick.

It’s not a surprise. The Ravens weren’t going to pay Boldin $6 million, and Boldin wasn’t going to take a pay cut.

Boldin still won’t take a pay cut. The difference is that the 49ers have the cap space to afford Boldin — along with a significant need for wideouts behind Michael Crabtree.

The move sends Boldin from the team coached by John Harbaugh to the team coached by his younger brother, Jim.

Hide yo kids. Hide yo wife.

@JeffDarlington: "Dear Jim, Sorry I beat you in the Super Bowl. Here's Anquan Boldin for practically nothing. Your bro, John."

@RichCimini The Jets announce signing of QB David Garrard

Jets = 5-11 this upcoming season. Then rebuild and ''lulz''

I think Miami makes the playoffs. Carolina may or may not. Differ? Miami has money to spend, Carolina has to make cuts to get under cap. Both went 7-9 last year, 6-10 year before that.

Bye bye, Rivera. Gots no monies to fix D.

Boldin for a 6th rounder when we spend 100 of millions on busts like Haynesworth and Archuleta:

Boldin was a terrific trade for San Francisco. That team is god-tier. Kaepernick + Boldin will be amazing. Horrible trade for Baltimore. Flacco and Boldin together were dangerous. Casualty #1 of Flacco's contract.

Well I still think it will take Kaepernick a while to go 1 2 3 back to 1 option instead of Crabtree, Davis then run.

Great value for a 6th round pick but don't know if he's a game changer. He only got 4 scores in the regular season last year.

He will be a great security blanket for the young Kap.

It's nice to know we have a better third option than Delanie Walker at least. Nothing against him, a solid #2 TE but still a significant upgrade for us in that respect.

Our defense improved the moment Luke Kuechly was handed the middle (basically QB position) and Greg Hardy transformed into The Kraken (taking double teams away from Charles Johnson). Our secondary is our biggest weakness, especially now that Gamble was cut (and now retired), but if our front seven can continue to build on what they accomplished last season, we'll be 'solid' but we need a top tier NT to anchor our DL.

I'm more worried about Cam though. He's got no protection and he's running low on weapons. Smitty will likely retire this season and Olsen (a TE) is going to be our only dependable target.

Blame Hurney. We've got no cash because of him.

Its official the jets are gunning for teddy bridgewater or johnny manziel in 2014

Mike Wallace would be a solid addition. Hope the cost is worth it, Dolphins need a WR who can grab Touchdowns though.

Definitely would've taken Wallace over Boldin if the same deal were available. His deep threat speed with Kap's arm would've been scary.
