And they can't even keep the lights on!

They're still milking all that Katrina goodwill.

Titus Young arrested twice in 15 hours, according to report

May 7

Titus Young, the former Detroit Lions wide receiver, was arrested twice in 15 hours on Sunday by the Moreno Valley Police Department in southern
California, Paula Pasche of the Oakland Press reports.

According to the police report, Young was stopped at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday after making an illegal left turn in front of a patrol car.

Young was stopped and arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center and later issued a citation and released from custody.

Hours later, at 2:22 p.m. that day, officers responded to a tow company yard where a man was seen jumping over the fence.

It was Young looking for his black Mustang.

He was arrested for burglary after the police determined he was trying to take his own vehicle. He was booked again at the same detention center.

Sanchez is going to be the Jets week 1 starter on a very short leash.

The sad thing is now that Gerrard is gone, there are still four left remaining in the QB fiasco. It's crazy that 3 weeks ago, there were technically 6 in contention.

:o

I predict more Jets talk on sports talk radio than anyone wants.

All of the above will be true. And not just sports talk radio, ESPN as well. ESPN loves the New York Jets.

So according to NFL.com, Super Bowl XL is between Miami and San Francisco and the loser will go against Houston for XLI?

Doesn't that pretty much just mean San Fran and Houston for XL and XLI since Miami is having trouble getting funds to improve the stadium?

And with all the people b'hing about how cold it is in NY, doesn't SF go down to the 40s at night in February?

I've been there, and it can be 60 degrees on a sunny day in August. So yeah, it'll be cold in Feb.

I would think that would be true.

Chad Johnson has been arrested on a "probation violation". He has taken quite the fall since leaving Cincinnati...

A big surprise to no one.

San Francisco gets Super Bowl XL and Houston gets Super Bowl XLI.

Sorry Miami.

It should have been at Lambeau for Superbowl L.

It could have been, if they moved the Super Bowl into Spring. Also, that city couldn't handle all those people.

The new 49ers Stadium is in Santa Clara, not San Francisco. HUGE difference.
