i don't know why it's just hard to get into NCAA basketball past the teams with the big stars on them.

Speaking of which, Wiggins is finally starting to come into his own.

The focus of the sports world doesn't fall to college hoops until after the Super Bowl. I like it better than the NBA because the league only cares about the big market teams, and the season is simply too long.

Wiggins had too much placed on his shoulders early on, but he's going to be a force come March. Embiid crashing the boards certainly won't hurt KU's chances, either.

Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are 19-11 and tied for first in Atlantic Sun. Ya know....last year's 15th seed making it to the sweet 16 via #DunkCity. I dunno if they can beta Mercer in the Conf tourny.


I also follow VCU....hardly ever watch a game....but I keep up to date on standings mostly.

Well, a 68-60 loss to Mercer is sending FGCU to the NIT. Saw second half of game on ESPN2. Was down by 16 to begin second half and got within 1 with like 8:30 to go but couldn't get the lead. NIT bound, hope they win NIT.

Guess it's VCU and usual 15th and 16th seeds I root for now in NCAA Tourny.

I count the days during the summer and fall until the college basketball season. Usually, I'm bursting with excitement by the time MM rolls around, but Kentucky has lacked a killer instinct all season, so it's made me skeptical about their chances of moving beyond the first couple of rounds.

Looking at states on ESPN, I will pick Mercer in a tight one over Duke. Both teams avg basically 79 points a game.


I may also pick Coastal Carolina over Virginia. Virginia seems surprised #1 seed. And CC seems like a good #16th seed.


And Geez, Jesus, A 31-2 team is a 12th Seed....and they may beat me VCU . I pick VCU in a close one though, won't be shocked if they lose. That Stephen Austin school can ****ing run. 31-2...#12 seed...holy ****.
