I hope the Texans can move beyond the beginning streak. For the last three seasons in a row, They start great in the pre-season and enter a season streak with a few wins then just flatline all of a sudden for most of the season with a few lucky wins here and there. They do great at the division championship though

Last season they finally got a new coach and got rid of Schaub but somehow it's still similar. They have the potential but they lose focus and struggle for some reason. I really hope Aaron Foster improves this season, He has been getting hurt a lot but last season when he was able to play he just didn't seem to have passion anymore. A shell of his former self.

Defense is covered for the most part but Offence needs fine tuning!

I really don't get why Russell thinks he deserves top money. And this is coming from a Seattle fan who watches all Seahawks game. Its really pathetic. Don't get me wrong, he's a great quarterback, but him whining and not taking the contract which was reasonable when being offered tells me something different.

Before any of you rant on me, let me set this straight. He's good, but he will never achieve the numbers that "elite" QB have (ie. 4,000yd passing, 30+TD, etc) because he plays in a system where the offense is conservative. Also even if he does tries to do that, when he fails and he has a elite defense that can back him up. (ex. Packers NFCCG game anyone?).

So what makes him deserve the money? Oh, because Seahawks were a mediocre team before his arrival in 2012? Or he has the most wins in his 3 year tenure here? Or because he has the Super Bowl ring and led another to SB.

Let's be honest here, first thing first, Super Bowl 2014 (ie. 2013 season) he really didn't need to do much, the defense technically won it from the start. Everyone can attest to this, only delusional people will deny this. Want more facts? Seattle would never won the Super Bowl had Richard Sherman (aka best corner) not tip the final pass in the NFCC game. No tip, no championship. As mentioned earlier, Super Bowl 2015, again, led by the best defense. He threw 4 interceptions, and yet the team still won. Wait, what did I say?! Yes, Seattle still won. How?! DEFENSE, the Seattle defense kept themselves in the game. Sure he did get credit for the game winning touchdown. But again, none of these would happen had the defense not put the spectacular performance that they did.

I know I sound like I am ranting, but I am trying to prove why he shouldn't be getting top dollar (or highest paid QB) because of these facts. No way is he top 5 QB. Top 10? Probably yes. Again, let's go back about the money thing. Here he states, he wants to be paid as TOP QB. Top QB means highest #1 paid QB. I am sorry what?! Hell no.

He probably thinks he deserves money for that lucky ass Madden throw in that NFC title game against Green Bay. It was honestly one of those times when you push X but meant to push B. The cameras couldn't even follow it.

Also don't forget the lucky bounce catch where Kearse caught one in the Super Bowl. Seattle wouldn't even be at the 1 yard before the touchdown. Oh wait....

You had Marshawn Lynch. That is all. That play will forever live in infamy.

:o

Yep, that's correct. I was stunned as I watched the play unfolded. Don't forget, Seattle had an extra time-out too as well. :whatever:

That is so freakin' irritating. Don't be all Christian one minute and money-hungry the next. That's not a good cliche to fall into.

Seems like not just with wilsons case but all players looking for mosy garunteed money and heck is tannehill Can cash in anyone can.

From Why Your Team Sucks...

I told a friend that I was an Oakland fan, and he told me “Well, I can’t really call you a bandwagoner, because you’re not really getting anything out of being a Raiders fan.”

How the **** are they upholding this ******** suspension is beyond me.

It appears to be less about the balls deflating as it about not complying and actually destroying evidence.

In the opinion informing Brady that his appeal had been denied, Commissioner Goodell emphasized important new information disclosed by Brady and his representatives in connection with the hearing.

On or shortly before March 6, the day that Tom Brady met with independent investigator Ted Wells and his colleagues, Brady directed that the cell phone he had used for the prior four months be destroyed. He did so even though he was aware that the investigators had requested access to text messages and other electronic information that had been stored on that phone. During the four months that the cell phone was in use, Brady had exchanged nearly 10,000 text messages, none of which can now be retrieved from that device. The destruction of the cell phone was not disclosed until June 18, almost four months after the investigators had first sought electronic information from Brady.

Based on the Wells Report and the evidence presented at the hearing, Commissioner Goodell concluded in his decision that Brady was aware of, and took steps to support, the actions of other team employees to deflate game footballs below the levels called for by the NFL's Official Playing Rules. The commissioner found that Brady’s deliberate destruction of potentially relevant evidence went beyond a mere failure to cooperate in the investigation and supported a finding that he had sought to hide evidence of his own participation in the underlying scheme to alter the footballs.

Damn, Brady.

Suck it up and do your time like a man and move on already. People need to realize that right now the NFL is on crack down mode after the whole ray rice fiasco a year ago. No sense in comparing what certain players did to others because there still getting suspended one way or another. This is tom bradys first offense yes but the organizations 2nd time however and he is paying the price for that.

He destroyed the phone. He couldn't have made it more obvious. What a liar. :funny:

Gary Parrish ‏@GaryParrishCBS
Any man who once left his pregnant girlfriend for a supermodel is probably experienced in destroying cell phones. So I’m hardly surprised.
:lmao:

Argue all you want about the deflated balls, still doesn't excuse that he acted difficult to cooperate with and showed signs of serious guilt. Breaking his cell phone?

To everyone upset over the suspension being upheld keep crying over golden boy's legacy, I'm gonna keep smiling.

Damn brady...Just take your punishment like a man and move on
