I'm not much of a sports or football fan, only becoming marginally interested around the big games ( or else whenever anything Kansas-related is involved....lol ).

but man, what a game!! I tuned in during 2nd quarter I think and saw the Patriots down 21 - 0. I thought "Uh-Oh!! That's not looking good for the Patriots. There's no way they can come back from that. It will take a miracle."

I started watching more intently during the 3rd quarter when the Patriots started scoring. but still, it looked like a daunting task for the Patriots. And the last few minutes of the 4th quarter and OT were exciting to watch.

so congrats to Tom Brady and the Patriots for that comeback win!!

Has Brady not done this through out his career though? These non stop drives? He's been able to do that to defenses through out his career.

Atlanta was killing them earlier and had it won. They did choke but their will crumbled under the Patriot's as the Pats proved mentally tougher. Brady has a massive on field presence.

I'm not going to take away anything from the Pats. They won this with good solid passing.

Even when he got his knee tore up, nobody thought it was that serious at first because he just walked off like nothing happened. The last four Super Bowl appearances he's had, he's been under hellacious duress, I think last night was the record for most pressure in a win.

And in spite of that, still he keeps coming. Forget the somewhat dorky, company man exterior, model wife and stupid "gate" controversies, he's a tough football player....I don't think that gets mentioned enough. It's a big reason why he is who he is, the greatest of all time.

The mental fortitude of Brady is all-time great status for somebody in ANY discipline ever.

Brady can be annoying sometimes but if someone don't respect the guy for forging his own successful reality, then that person's perspective is off. Period.

Tom Brady is an American legend now. The John Wayne of football.

If a team like the Most Offensive powered Falcons who has a 25 point lead can't do it then no one could.

To comeback like that on a team like the Falcons without Gronk can change a team's psyche.

Not only that they can outthink the opponent, they now also have the power of belief against any adversity.
