With the sixth day finally done of the now long running Emmy award winning series what have been some of your favourites.

The poll just has the cliffhanger or final moments but also remember any action, twists, romance or deaths that happened in the episode.

I'm personally Day 5 on both accounts. Day 5 is easily the best season. It just never let up where as every other season has notable periods of down time. Day 5 was just a roller coaster ride from the second it began.

As for finale, also Day 5. I admit Teri's death was the most shocking and Day 4's ENDING was good (though I personally think it would've been the perfect end to the series), but Day 5 in its entirety is unbeatable. Everything from Henderson's death, to the fight with Bierko, to the showdown with Jack and Logan and Martha and Logan was perfect. The ending was a great cliff hanger as well.

My favorite season was the third, I know I'm in the minority, but just thought it was great. Maybe it's just because plague/virus scenarios are really interesting to me. Season 1's finale was my favorite ending though, just felt it was such a ballsy move and really secured for me that this series was different from anything else on TV.

Day 6 was pretty boring. I mean Jack was hardly even in the show this season, pretty much everyone at CTU and the whitehouse was on it more than Jack! I agree with Matt day 5 was the best. They should've just ended it then.

Season 5.

The most unexpected and coolest ending in the entire show.

Great avatar! The Office's season finale had more twists, enjoyable moments and such a great ending.

I wouldn't say most unexpected, half a dozen times throughout the season Jack or somebody mentioned that he has to go back in hiding because of the Chinese. He had to fake his death in season four to stay in America. The Chinese were going to get their guy, the manner in which they did it was cool. Stolen from Audrey, a beatened Jack begging to be killed, and told he's far to valuable to be killed.

Jack faking his death to avoid being taken away to China or killed by a government agent, only a handful know, he seemed to have his life back in order at the start and now he lost the woman he loved, his friends but he had a chance to start anew. The music, the final phone call to Palmer, the aviator glasses, the walk into the sunrise on the railway tracks. Powerful. Perfect ending to the season and could've been for the show. How do they bring Jack back?

Say what you want...but when I saw the cargo ship sail off to shanghai, that was pretty damn powerful.

left me with my jaw dropped.

Season 5 had the best finale, followed by season 4. The reason why this season fell flat is partly because the kidnapping of Jack was sssssooooo powerful, and so awesome ppl amped themselves up for 8 months.......til this season.

Season 6 was so disappointing, I hope the ¨dramatic¨ change for next season is good cause man season 6 was promising at first but then it just lagged all the way

Exactly.

One of the biggest issues I had with season 6 was that they practically made the whole "Jack being captured and held in a prison for over a year" nearly pointless.

It was such a HUGE thing at the end of season 5...then oh, first 10 minutes of season 6...he's back...same old jack killing terrorists.

Sure, they may have showed Jack suffering a few side-effects of his time in China...but they didn't do it right.

favorite season is definately day 5. That was a total thrill ride that you can watch over and over. Favorite ending was day 1. Terri's death cemented the 1 important fact about 24. No one is safe. ever.

Day 1 is my favorite. It was realistic in every aspect(well, not every, but more than the quasi-scifi it is now) and the twists and turns were unexpected.

My favorite finale is day 2 though overall. I was legitimally shocked at Palmer almost being killed by Mandy. Day 4's finale was a close second though. Jack walking off into the sunset and faking his death is pretty awesome but like someone else said, that's more of a series ender than a season ender.

Season 5 ending was so predictable. And as soon as the CHINESE guy said to jack "you have a call" it was obvious they were gonna kidnap him. I was waiting all season for the chinese to get him, you're an idiot if you didn't see it coming.

And I duno why people bash season 3 ending...it was an emotional scene. More emotional than the crap season 6 ending.

2 is easy to overlook but it shouldn't be. In the season one finale things were never over until the clock stopped ticking. It was just nonstop.

But with season 2, it seemed like things were over and everything else was just falling action and then they blind sided you with the attempted hit on Palmer.

Hmmm, for pace and action, Day5. For characters that I care about, compelling story and a semi original premise? Day3.

Ending? I liked the ambiguity, shot and lighting of Day6, but Day 5 had the best ending thus far.

Day 5 was the best overall, but Day 1 definitely gets the finale nod. it was just inconcievable back then to have such a major character killed off like that. specially since she was pregnant. now we see this kind of stuff left and right, in 24 included.

not only that, but when you get down to it, it was Teri's death that set Jack on the path to borderline insanity he ended up taking.

the Day 5 finale was great, but it was only third best for me, behind Day 1 and 4, which not only promised a new direction to the series, but, as opposed to the day 5 finale, was COMPLETELY unpredictable. I mean, I knew the Chinese would end up appearing in Day 5, and when it happened, I already expected something bad to go down.

Day 6 was an unexpected dissapointment....I still cant believe how crap that season was.

Seasons 1 to 5 were brilliant, its almost hard to say which was the best. We had some great characters. Nina was an awesome villain and Sherry Palmer was the poster child for, evil cow but I'd probably say seaon 5 was the best season and season 1 had the best ending.

Day 5 was insanely incredible. I loved every second of Day 5 from start to finish. It is easily and by far my favorite season of 24. I was actually quite disappointed with Day 6, but I guess it would've been tough to live up to Day 5's accomplishments, even if Day 6 were a brilliant season (which I don't think it was).

That said, I think Day 4 slightly edges out Day 5's final moments as the best finale. Jack, Chloe, Bill, Michelle, and Tony conspire to fake Jack's death so that the Chinese can't prosecute him. Brilliant end to a good season, plus it set up a lot of the interesting things that happened in Day 5.
