So the white blood cells (the genetically modified diesease killers) would still work effectively.

Now, the only feasible way I could see a spider-bite actually changing things is if it worked as a catalyst to change DNA, now with Peter, this change is beneficial, with Harry, this change is baaad.

Now, if harry gets some of Peter's white blood cells, they've already been genetically formed, and could, in the world of psuedo-science, potentially fight off the retro-viral hyperplasia, or at least work to stop his awful skin condition.

That's the whole "self healing" thing though, it's more than just white blood cells! Peter would actually be changed genetically, whilst Harry wants to equivalent of a blood transfusion, something to heal him.

The typical Blu-ray release is approximately 4 months after the opening release day of a film in theaters. There are exceptions to this, ASM2 is a good example, but otherwise most movies stick to the 4 month time frame.

Well, I'm going by the US release dates when I say "4 month time frame." In the case of ASM2, that's May 2nd (US theater release) to August 19th (US BR release). So, under the 4 month mark. It should be releasing sometime in mid-late September.
