The most amazing thing about him I thought is he looks like he's in his 50's, and he's actually 69 years old. The man looks terrific for his age.
69?! Holy. That's nuts. RIP Harold Ramis, though. :[

As a Ghostbusters fan, I'm actually not looking forward to this "third" movie. They should just leave the legacy at the second one.

And I didn't realize how much people weren't too find of GB2? I still love it. I get why, but still.

"I love Jesus' style!"

"Ray! If someone asks you if you are a God...you say YES!"

"Myth? Ray, has it ever occurred to you that maybe the reason we've been so busy lately is 'cause the dead HAVE been rising from the grave?"

"I'm Winston Zeddmore, Your Honor. I've only been with the company for a couple of weeks, but these things are real. Since I joined these men, I've seen **** that'll turn you white."

Gotta love Winston. lol. He had some of the best lines in the movie, imo.
LOL. So good.

"Um.. If it has a steady paycheck in it, I'll believe in anything you say."

Yeah 69 years old. I mean when he said to me it was 30 years ago this year that the first Ghostbusters movie came out, you realize just how long it's been, even though it doesn't feel it.

Ivan Reitman (that's the director of the Ghostbusters movies for anyone who doesn't know) said he's staying as producer to make sure the 3rd movie is done right, even though he's handing director's job to someone else. So it has a chance to be good.

I love Ghostbusters 2. I thought it was terrific. Sure it wasn't as good as the first one, but still a darn good movie. The creepy Vego in the painting, the river of slime, the baby on the ledge, the walking Statue of Liberty etc. Terrific stuff.

Hahaha!

"That's a big twinkie."

"Hey Egon, tell him about the twinkie."

Is Murray on board for GB III? I was under the impression he was against it.

It really sucks about Ramis. What's a Ghostbusters movie gonna be like without Egon? :csad:

Damn dude. 30 years. Yeah time hits you like none other.

I didn't know about Ivan still producing. That's good. I'm not too fond of the all-female approach that was announced last week or so...heck I just wanna see those proton packs back on the big screen lol. Maybe there'll be some rad designs for them now.

And with GB2, don't forget the slime blowers, the improved Ecto-1A (I have pictures with both the Ecto-1 and 1A), and Janosz lol. "Then why are you came??"

I do love Chronicles too.

I haven't heard anything about Murray except that he's not really interested. At this rate it will probably just be Akroyd and Hudson doing the 3rd one.

R.I.P. Harold.

I'm not against the idea of an all female one if it's handled right, and they involve some of the original Ghostbusters as like tutors/mentors to the new team.

Oh yeah the slime blowers, I loved them. And the Skalary brothers in the court room. Janosz was hilarious. Best part was when he and Ray were all like 'I love you man' to each other at the end after they were slimed lol.

Did you know that the actor who played Janosz also did the voice of Doc Ock in the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon?

Dammit. You beat me to it! :cmad: I was just gonna mention that. Peter MacNicol is his name and he was fantastic as Ock :yay:

I concur. He is my favorite villain on the show. They just nailed him and MacNicol did a first rate job going from meek geeky Octavius to arrogant megalomaniac super villain Doc Ock.

I always thought it was amazing that in two seasons they managed to cover several of Ock's most famous comic book stories; Sinister Six, Master Planner, and the Gang War.

Oh my god! The Skalary brothers scene was great! I think that whole court room scene is one of my favorite scenes ever. The score that plays when they start putting on the packs.

Whoa! Had no idea, guys. Saw the TSSM blu-ray at BB yesterday while I was getting the GOTG soundtrack. I'll pick it up sooner or later.

Oh yes, absolutely. Ock was easily one of the best villains on the show and I agree that MacNicol nailed the role. It's funny to think this was the same guy from Ally Macbeal. lol.

I'm not gonna post too much cause once I get going on TSSM, it's difficult for me to stop. But...the show had such awesome writing--the way Weisman and Co were able to seamlessly intertwine all these different story elements from different periods of Spidey's history and make it so coherent was simply fantastic. And with Ock, it was no different. They covered all the stuff you mentioned. I love how they got right down to the core of Ock. And it's a shame the show didn't continue because who knows what else we may have gotten with the Doctor. The death of George Stacy (might be a little too heavy for an animated show), Ock almost marrying Aunt May, unmasking Spidey, or one of my favorites from ASM #55 when Ock causes Spider-Man to have amnesia and then convinces him to commit the crime of the century.

Perry, you are almost right about that intro, I don't think it's the greatest, but it is a great one
Is there someone that don't like Inception? That movie Is a masterpiece.
The ending of the movie lost me
Why did everything happen the way it did?

Again Miles didn't know who Ernie Hudson was, did he. That's not me having a dig at you btw, Miles. I know that not everyone knows the names of these actors, even if they are very familiar with their characters that they play. That's why I asked.

It's not like we're talking about Christian Bale and Bill Murray here. Trust Spider-knight to turn something friendly into an issue.

I had no idea who Ernie Hudson was either.

Lol!! Disappointed it doesn't come in any slip case.

Btw, rating Guardians a 9/10. I remember discussing it with you. I saw it a second time last week and it's just so good.

TSSM Blu-ray did come with a slip cover. The BR released on 4/22 and for about the first month or so, if you purchased a copy it came with a slip cover. A very nice one I might add. But for some reason any copies after that initial batch sold out, do NOT have a slip. I've no idea why. So, if you want one with a slip cover, they're still available but you have to shop around. Some of the independent sellers on Amazon have some copies left, there's also Ebay, maybe Craigslist. But if you order direct from Walmart, Amazon's main distributor, Best Buy, Target, etc. they will all come slip-less.

GotG made my top ten. I've seen it twice. It's just awesome.

Moriarty's pretty creepy.

As he should be. :woot:
