'But you love Spider-man, shouldn't you love this movie?'
Which usually snowballs into me ranting about comics that none of my friends care about.

for me TASM2 is a movie that i can see in parts because if i watch only the parts that i like is an easy 8 or 9 but if you show me Max Dillon or anything to do with the blood thing is goes downhill i remember leaving the cinema somewhat depressed the first time i saw it, i mean i waited 2 years for the sequel to a movie that i really liked to an ok movie with parts that i really liked to parts i hated, is really hard for me to cringe at something but Max Dillon was enough

i went to the cinema twice, first with friends: one friend really liked it, another friend who also reads comics thought it was ok and the other one just liked it, the second time with my sister and my mom my sister liked it because Dane DeHaan and because they did something different. the death thing, and my mom disliked it (she liked TASM)

That kinda sums up ASM2. The parts that are done well are done really well. And the parts that are bad are, well, really bad. It's such a mess. Just a mess of a film. And the disappointing part is that if they had their **** together, they could have made a real winner with all the stuff that was done well.

My rating has dropped to a 7/10. Might even be a 6.5/10 on a bad day.

And, yes, I am being negative. Sorry. I'm just not happy with the direction of this franchise at the moment and so my overly-critical Spidey brain is working overtime.

Okay wow. I am so sorry. I hope you're in a better mood about this movie. But hey, I hope they make this franchise great after everything that had happened.

Just watched Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Great film, a little overrated though. I'd still say Guardians of the Galaxy is the better of the two. Now I'm eagerly waiting for X-Men: Days of Future Past to release on Blu-ray.

The Winter Solder (the character) was very cool but I was a little disappointed after all the hype. He didn't have much screen time. Overall I was more enjoyed by Crossbones.

Though Winter Solder had one of the best MCU scenes so far.

For WS, it worked that he wasn't on screen that often. Kept the mystery of the character intact util it was time to really dig into who he is.
As for Crossbones, I expect him to have his mask next time.

Yeah, I find TWS a little overrated too. It's solid, but I still don't understand the people saying it's the best solo Marvel film yet, etc.
