Eva Green would be awesome as a female Ock. She's just the right balance of sexy and really freaking sinister. I'd love to see her go toe to toe with Garfield as Spidey.

I don't think she's that great in terms of her appearance, honestly. But generally, yes, I can see her being a villainous character.
 
I'm just now starting to realize how much I love Peter's look in ASM1.

Hope it sort of returns in ASM3. I liked the kinda rough quality to it.
 
I haven't followed the news that well lately (just the big stuff), so I gotta ask, where did the rumor come from that Spidey would be soft rebooted?
 
Ignore the rumors, pay them no attention.
Unless news come out of an official source, then there is nothing about the material to discuss.
 
They aren't going to reboot it. And if they were, certainly not this soon.
Granted, if they did, I expect the opinion would be the same for it like it was for the Raimi films: It needs it.
Not that I agree, but given the current majority opinion on the series...yeah.

Also anyone read Ultimate Spidey? If so what do you think about the reason Peter's alive bc while I love the Ultimate Spidey stuff, it's kinda ********.
 
It's very BS. I've always wondered how in the past we've ever gotten Legacy characters at all because in the last decade we've seen both Marvel and DC fear from moving on to legacy characters, because whenever they do move on, they move back to the original characters within a few years, even in an alternate universe like Ultimate Marvel.

Death in comics is such a joke these days, I wonder why anyone takes any comic book death seriously.
 
In the Ultimate universe, when you die you die but the reason how both Peter and Norman are alive and what it means for Miles just feels very ********. I mean really? This is why and how Pete's back?

I did love how Wolverine died. While it probably will be only for a while, it was really well written and well done. Soule killed that.

I've been following USM regularly.

I like having Pete back. I recall Bendis saying that if they didn't kill him during the Ultimatum, they never would.

Anyway, if he actually came back to life or something; fine. Pete's back. That's good enough for me.
 
It wouldn't be a problem if Bendis didn't write so slow. He will tell you everything and nothing at the same time. I mean it took 6 issues since Pete's been back to finally learn how he is alive.

From Peter's POV, he has no idea how he's alive but Norman figured out the Oz he took for the Goblin and that was in the spider that bite Peter makes them immortal somehow.

It just seems very bull you know. I'm not completely happy Pete's back. Love how he died but I think if Bendis explains this immortality better I will get on board. I do like Miles and the idea of him carrying on the Spidey legacy. It just seems that simply saying "Pete and Norman are alive because they are immortal" is just so left field and works for characters like Supers or Thor or Wonder Woman but not Spidey. So if they are immortal, are Pete's clones still alive since they are his clones? Is Harry still alive since he was the Hobgoblin?

And yeah, Jonah seems pretty... Dead. Kinda sucks, he was truly likable.
