Hah, well, I still like it, but just not ebough to go out of my way with getting it on Blu-Ray.

Feels weird saying that about a Spidey flick.

I still like the movie too.

But....I've never had my ratings for a Spidey movie drop like this before. That's the weird part for me. I've watched it about 4-5 times since owning it on BR and I have a 'meh' feeling about ever watching it again.

Sunday was a looooooong day. Been busy with selling my house and buying a new one and that day was our 'move' day. I didn't even get a chance to see the game. I was so tired. But it was great to get that good news after all the lifting was done.

It's funny, a few of us seemed to be quite inactive this weekend. I also had family come visit us from overseas, so I only got to see about a quarter of the Broncos and 49ers game.

Anyways, congrats on the win and the move as well! I'm glad it turned out to be a great day for you.

I'm quite nervous for Monday night :csad:

Oh man, football is a painful subject right now. Its Tuesday and I'm still crying.

The Panthers. I was so confident at the start of the season. If anything, I thought the defense would at least be reliable this year if all else was to fail. I was wrong. So so wrong.

I also have no idea what happened to their defense. My brother picked the Panthers defense for his fantasy team, and he's been going off about them every week.

Certainly a huge disappointment this year.

I think the Vulture needs more love as a villain. He's certainly up there with the Goblin and Doc Ock in terms of classic adversaries.

We did get rid of quite a few players thanks to our wonderful general manager Gettleman. Same guy that did us an amazing favor by getting rid of Steve Smith. (insert tons of sarcasm). Its quite the dumpster fire now.

I see.

Seems like the meh creeps up on a lot of us. I meh'd the first time I saw it, though, but instead had the film grow on me.

But I won't defend it anymore - it does deserve some of the s**t it gets, mostly because I know they can do so much better (ASM1 for instance, that one I'll defend to my grave).

However, I still think there's some beauty to be found in ASM2 both in the action scenes and the quieter moments. I just wish there'd be more of it, like in ASM1.

Hail ASM1.

Its the opisite for me. The more I watch it the more I love it. I have watched it 3 time on bluray and probly going to watch it again soon. Great story, one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard, amazing action and acting just a great movie. If I where to have seen the movie before I saw the reviews and then went and looked at the reviews I don't think I would belive how low the score is for this movie just don't get it.

It was really hard for me to imagine Steve Smith be in a city other than Carolina.

It must have been hard to watch him when the Panthers played Baltimore this year.

As well as my Boys are playing right now, I'm not gonna allow myself to get a swell head. There's still plenty of time left in the season and things can change. I'm enjoying it right now though and it feels good to be a fan. I certainly don't think Monday is a 'sure' thing by any means. The Cowboys and Redskins always play each other tough--the win-loss record means nothing when they play. I'm expecting a close match-up.

I see.

I'm pretty much done defending ASM2 as well. There's some points that are worth defending and I'll speak up when they arise, mostly it's the hyperbolic nonsense, however for the most part I agree with many of the criticisms. They can and should do better.

I like ASM more. That film, while very different from the pack, has a lot going for it. I was hoping ASM2 would improve upon the sequel and it definitely seemed that way during the preproduction phase. Oh well.

Good for you, man. Like what you like and don't let others cloud your view(s).

The worst part for me, is only owning a Steve Smith jersey. Tbh though I was sorta pulling for the Ravens just because of Steve Smith. I really felt like he was done wrong. I didn't watch the game though. I refused.

I still love The Amazing Spider-man 2, quite a bit. Although now I kinda like the first one better. It felt more fresh to say the least. That being said I still love the second one.

ASM is definitely superior to ASM2. It feels like a more well organized and more thought out film, again despite Sony. Taking Peter's parents storyline and taking out Ben's killer hurt the movie, and put off an already boring storyline with Peter's parents.

Agreed.

The amount people are saying ASM2 was better than ASM makes me feel weird.

I enjoy TASM2 more than TASM, but TASM is a better made movie IMO.

Yeah, ASM2 is probably a little more entertaining.

I find ASM1 genuinely great, though. I really do.
