Just checking in after an evening with the lady.

I saw The Equalizer and it has one of the best lines I've ever heard in a film:

"If you're going to pray for the rain, worry about the mud, too."
 
Its just not terrible to see one of the most veteran Viners and a good friend being forced to leave, but even worse to see so many bridges burned and friendships ruined due to petty quibbles. Have we forgotten what kind of stuff we went through together? Didn't it mean nothing anymore? I said without irony that this site used to be one of the best communities I had made part of in the Internet and what I am supposed to feel like right now?

This actually changed my perspective on something's :(
 
My vote went to Miles, cause he's the friend I like more. Sorry LibidoLoca.

Usually I don't like QTE's, even in Spider-Man 3, it's the thing that gave birth to my hatred of those "press the flashing button you see on screen" sequences.

Dude yes.

The QTEs at the end of the Kingpin fight.

They were advanced to say the least. 11 year old me almost threw the controller on the floor.
 
Is anyone here on an X-Men craze? O_o
Tomorrow - I'm going to rewatch X1, then the day after, I'll watch X2 and X3, then the day after I'll watch Wolverine Origins, then the day after that, I'll be rewatch First Class... just in time for DOFP :)

Kingpin fight and Harry escaping the sand were the most frustrating sequences.
The good thing is the sequence remains the same, jump to jump and strike to strike.
 
The world's full of crappy films... If they're gone - what would we mock?

Oh - good thing there's Twilight to fall back on ;)
 
Miles - my primary issues with the film are characterisation - the characters aren't important because of what they are, but because of what they do, I didn't understand Cage, Rita, Farrell or anyone else for that matter. And the characterisation is somewhat subtle and simple to pass by, IMHO.

maybe. I'd say were both very "religious" but I guess I'm more tolerant of things. I don't know how she would react if I told her I started watching Game of Thrones at college.
 
TheSpectacular - I can honestly relate to that... I don't watch anything with Sex, honestly. I know I'm meant to sound embarrassed because of that, but I'm not.
