I have no clue what happened to the Giants. They were outplayed in every facet of the game, it was tough to watch.

Congrats to your Cowboys though. They beat Seattle in Seattle which is very hard to do.

If the Cowboys play like they did last week, and the giants play like they did last week, the Giants won't have a chance against the Cowboys.

Eh, maybe. For some reason the Giants always play really well whenever they come to Dallas. It's like Manning's ability becomes superpowered as soon as he steps onto our field, the defense too. I'd almost say we have a much better chance to win the game if it was being held in Jersey.

I have to give it to you, man.

- Murray is a beast. Six consecutive weeks with 100 yards rushing, are you kidding me?
- Seattle had only lost one home game since the start of the 2012 season. Dallas gave them their second, and it was even more impressive since you all were in a hole early.
- Romo has all day in the pocket, your offensive line is one of the best I've seen in a long time. Seriously, I can't remember the last time I saw a quarterback hang in the pocket the way Romo has gotten to this year. Your line deserves some steaks so far this season.
- Bryant continues to make great catches, and he got the best of Sherman on a couple of plays.

I thought you all had a relatively easy schedule until this game, but this win changes everything. A very gutsy performance, and I have to give credit where it's due

I'm not going to say a word about the Redskins.

Yeah, I dunno if Murray is doing so good because he's finally coming into his own or if it's the awesome job the offensive line is doing. I think it's probably a little of both. It does remind me of how dominant the Cowboys line and running game was back in the 90s with their HOF line and Emmitt in the backfield.

Bryant is a beast no doubt but what has surprised me more is the play of the other wideout, Terrance Williams. His catch on 3rd and 20 was insane. He was pretty good last year but the amount of growth he's shown in just one year has been phenomenal.

Not sure what's going on with the Skins. I watched the game against my hometown Cards last week and they seemed to be doing ok. It looked like Cousins had another breakdown during the 4th quarter with those interceptions.

So I read #6 of Miles Morales.
Basically, Peter Parker says that he doesnt know whether he is a clone or the real deal. He woke up in an abandoned laboratory after a while and immediately went to see MJ. Btw, he still remembers everything and doesnt have amnesia. Together, they dug up his grave, only to find nothing in there. Peter says that he doesn't want to keep on being Spider-Man as it has put all his family through a heck of a lot of grief. Just when he is claiming that he can never see May again, both Aunt May and Gwen come to MJ's house. Meanwhile, Goblin is alive and has maybe/maybe not killed JJJ by burning his face. There is an all-out battle between Miles and Goblin wherein Miles kicks Goblin's behind in every sense of the term.

It is a little bit of both, in my opinion. I've always thought that Murray was an underrated RB, so it was a matter of his talents to come to fruition along with the offensive line. I believe you guys added a couple of new pieces on your line, but Tyron Smith was announced today as the NFC player of the week (that's the first time an OL has received that award in 10 years).

I forgot to mention Terrance Williams. I was looking at highlights earlier this morning, and that was a spectacular catch. He's definitely come around as a WR. You guys needed a solid #2 WR to step up behind Bryant.

Without going into too much detail about the Skins, Cousins does have an issue with trying to make up for one bad play in one series. Once he throws an INT, you almost know he's going to throw another. He needs to realize he can't get it all back on one play. It's always a team effort, but the Cards and the Giants game are both on him.

Which films?

The Equalizer and the "Before trilogy": Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013).

My girlfriend made me watch the trilogy, but it was actually quite good.

I'm new here, and I think you guys are really friendly and welcoming, but for some reason I always feel like some annoying tagalong whenever I post something here. Has anyone ever had that feeling when they were new to the forums?

The Giants game is the one where he had like a complete meltdown, am I right?? Romo is kind of like that sometimes. He can get down rather quickly and then just stay down--throws a pick and then gets sucked into a blackhole where he never recovers. But...recently he's been overcoming those obstacles and showing some real mental toughness. And the added pluses coming from the running game definitely help those situations.

Three of the last four years, the Cowboys have taken an OL as their 1st round draft pick. You ever want to rebuild a team, the best way to do it is strengthen your offensive and defensive line. Control the line of scrimmage, you control the clock and will wear down your opponents.

You said they could "Stephanie Brown Ultimate Peter."
What happened to Stephanie? What did they do to her?

That's the joke.
Like Original Miles said, she was Robin and Batgirl. But they killed her off and then swept her under the rug. Never mentioned her and she basically forgot her existence.

I kinda felt that way too, but it goes away. Keep posting, and before you know it you'll be a regular around here. :yay:

Yes, three of four picks came in the third quarter in that game.

I understand what you're saying about Romo, but I think his playmaking ability and mobility in the pocket are underrated. He can go in a black hole at times, yes. However, he has the ability to quickly turn it around and make a huge play. You can probably recall how he did that against the Skins in Washington last year, which I believe was the last game of the regular season. The Cowboys scored a go-ahead TD with seconds remaining on the clock, and it was all because of Romo.

I strongly agree with the bolded part. I feel like the game is getting away from that philosophy every year, but great teams thrived on the foundations of their offensive and defensive lines. The Cowboys deserve some props for that.

I missed this post, but I agree with Airnick.

You definitely feel lost among all of the posters on here at first. As long as you get involved and don't give anyone a reason to say anything negative to you, you'll be fine.

It can be hell, though, if you go down the wrong path :funny:

Again, thank you. I created a thread for the Sinister Six movie, and no one's seemed to notice it, so I felt a little left out I guess.

Don't worry about that. I noticed it and I'm sure many users did, too.

The thing is, over the past few months, we've literally covered whatever angle/spin could be taken in term of S6 speculation. From casting, how it should play out, whether or not Spidey will be involved, etc.

We're currently in a dry spell in regards to any news on S6, but I assure you that thread will be buzzing once we get some updates. I'm glad you made it, actually, and I know that's where I'll go to post S6 news.

Recently this place was dead. If anything, I'm glad the MCU surfaced just because they revived this place a little.

Hope that helps.

Of course. I sometimes still feel that way especially when conversing with some of the more comic educated folks around here, i.e. "The Human Comic-encyclopedia" aka Spider-Aziz.

Post often, be courteous, have fun...you'll eventually find your niche on here.

Yeah, Romo has some excellent mobility and it's something he gets little credit for at times. But when he makes JJ Watt fall down like an old grandma, people do tend to notice, lol.

I still like Cousins, despite his issues. He could still be a great QB in this league and there's a maturation that he needs that will only come with time. I think I've said this before but he could easily be the starting QB for several teams in the NFL--maybe just not right now.

That definitely must have been a treat to watch for you all. I remember seeing that in the highlights after Dallas played Houston and I was impressed (especially because Watt destroyed my Skins).

Eh, I don't know about Cousins yet, and it's even more frightening because now there isn't any certainty with RG3 as well. The only team Cousins performed well against was the Jags, and RG3 didn't look that great in the opener at Houston either. There's just way too many questions for this franchise right now.

Ah that makes sense. I kinda avoided the forums for a while after TASM2, because, while I enjoyed the film myself, it was disheartening to see the hate it got, and seeing that killed my excitement for S6 or a future solo Spidey flick.

Anyone have any favorite albums/songs from this past year? I'm really enjoying Flying Lotus's new album at the moment

It can be discouraging, yes, but I think it's always great to see what other people have to say. That's what I've loved most about the boards ever since joining. Just remember that as much as someone else's opinion might be able to have an impact on you, your opinion can do the same for someone else.

Everyone here likes Spider-Man, at the end of the day. People just have different opinions on the direction he should be going in as a brand.

Too true, my friend. Am I the only one open to seeing a female Doc Ock rather than Otto again?

I thought you meant something New 52.
