You should.

That's certainly a goal of mine as well, before it goes out of theaters.

Yeah I don't know how much longer it will be in theaters for though. The movie has been out for about a month now and most movies are in theaters for about a month and a half around where I live. ASM2 was out for like 27 days lol less then a month.

Packers are victorious, all is right with the world :woot:

You know it. I think that's why we liked Interstellar so much.

Movies like that are the ones that are worth every dime. Interstellar had my mind boggling, so I'll take your word for this as well

Indeed.

Thing is, though, I stepped out from Insterstellar feeling very mind-blown. With Nightcrawler, I stepped out feeling sort of bad.

But I do think you'll like the film!

Darn it pat starting to get lucky like always. Bad call on that drive lead to the touchdown and Packers have had to settle for 3 FG and missed an FG.

I just got back from watching Mockingjay, Part 1.

Here are a few spoiler-free thoughts that I'll still hide in case anyone doesn't want to read them:

- While I thought it was a good film, I think of the three HG movies so far, it's the one you should stay home for.

- The climactic event in the movie was solid, but it felt sudden. In other words, the movie never makes it clear that the particular event would be the end. With that being said, that kind of is why this movie was titled "Part 1."

- I still enjoyed the movie, though, as it still is what its advertised to be by its title. I'll leave it at that.

- Part 2 will be epic.

I can't believe it's been out that long. Time flies.

Even if I'm not able to, I'm definitely going to get it on Blu-ray when it comes out. It's a must-have.

I appreciate movies that have me feeling a certain kind of way, good or bad.

I look forward to it

Am I to guess that Patriots is a mediocre team?

It's pretty simple, really. People respond to quality. It doesn't matter if it's movies, music, sports, books, electronics, food, etc., when a product has a high quality it's noticeable and people appreciate it.

For example, I'm close to wrapping up the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. It's extremely solid and one of the best tv shows I've seen. There's a reason so many other people agree with that sentiment. Quality is stamped all over the show. You can tell the people that put forth the effort to create it, writers, producers, voice actors, all had a common goal. It's a labor of love.

Things like that standout. And as someone who really appreciates that kind of value, I'm more than willing to support it and there's no better way to show support than with my wallet. Happy to do it.

FINALLY THROUGH WITH MY EXAMS (for now)!!!

Could anybody recommend a movie? I feel like celebrating. :oldrazz:

I think I'll trust this post.

Put it this way:

Since I started watching football in 1999 as a kid, they've only had one season in which they finished with more losses than wins.

Do you follow any sports, Aziz?

Congrats! I'll be in this position next Thursday, hopefully.

You've probably seen it, but it's been a while since I watched The Pursuit of Happiness. I need to see it when I get the chance.

"This part of my life - is called happiness." Hit Uncle Ben right in the feels.

That's the movie with Will Smith right?? I don't think I've seen it, so I'll check it out. :oldrazz:

Congratulations.
I suggest Double Dragon, just to see what attempted to be Guardians of the Galaxy of its time, but failed miserably.
I think that's what it aimed for.
GotG reminded me of that movie.

Good luck with your exams.

I want to see Pursuit of Happiness, I probably will.
I like Will Smith movies.

Thank you

As I've mentioned to Maooz here before, it's hard for me to come up with a top-ten list for movies, or any list for that matter.

However, I can't think of many movies that I would definitively rank higher than The Pursuit of Happiness , based on my preferences.

The fact that it's a true story makes it that much more memorable.

Am I to guess that Patriots is a mediocre team?

Like Uncle Ben said, they've been one of the most consistent teams this decade. Making it to 5 championships while winning three. To add on to that, they usually have winning seasons. It's just that many people hate their star player and coach.

There was a list out there that showed the most hated teams for all sports worldwide, and the Patriots were in the top ten. Barring a minority, if you aren't a Patriots fan, then you hate them.

I watched Contact a few weeks ago. One of the best films I've seen recently.

I sure as hell recommend it.

I wonder who they lost to..:cwink: :oldrazz:

I was about to remind you that the Giants lost to the Jaguars this weekend, but then I remembered that my Redskins suck :funny:

Haha! I was kinda happy the Giants lost, that way we can get a better draft pick. Of course it's a bit embarrassing to lose to the Jags though. :funny:

Same here, but I really don't have faith in our ability to draft anymore either!

At least I have the Wizards to fall back on :oldrazz:

I still have faith in the the Giants ability to draft: JPP, Hakeem Nicks (he was good for a little while, but he started getting hurt) and now Odell Beckham.

Yeah I still have the Knicks to fa...wait never mind.

Yeah I think I am going to go see interstellar again tomorrow. I work in till 5:45 and I there is a 7:45 showing should be enough time to get home take a show and eat some dinner and Tuesday are $6. Normaly the theater is like 11.5 and like 9.5 durning the day. I am going to get the movie on Blu-ray for sure to. Dawn of the apes is another good movie and it comes out on Blu-ray tomorrow. We had it out at are store today even though it doesn't came out in till tomorrow. I would have gotten it but it was like 28.95 and amazon has the 3d blu-ray for like 19.99. Have you seen dawn of the apes? I think my list of movies that I have seen this year form best to worst goes something like this.

1. ASM2
2. Dawn of the apes
3. interstellar
4. Cap2
5. Xmen
6. TMNT
7. Godzilla
8. Million ways to die in the west
9. Expendables 3
10. The nut job- saw this on dvd
11. Noah
12. Lego movie- way way overrated movie. I saw this on dvd did not see it in theaters but I thought it was pretty boring and not really fun another then batman lol
13. Robo cop
14. Transformers 4- one of the worst movies I have ever seen

This list is subjected to change has I don't have a good mermary and dawn of the apes and interstellar I have only seen once. The top 6 movies I either have or I am going to get. In a normal year I probly go to the movie like 8 times. This year I have seen 12 movies on dvd and 1 of them I have seen 3 times asm2 and 1 xmen saw twice. So I have been to the movie like 15 times and I still have pengues and night at the museum and deapending on if it follows the bible the mosses movie. So by the end of the year I will have went to the movies like 18-19 times so it has been a really good year for movies to me.
