I have yet to watch Breaking Bad as well.

Sad, I know, but I plan on getting to it eventually.

I confess, haven't seen an episode of Dexter.

Season 1 is excellent - I repeat excellent. Pretty much television at its very best.

Season 2 is... Fine. Season 3 is pretty good, season 4 is excellent, season 5 is fine, season 6 is okay, season 7 is fine, season 8 is okay.

The finale is pretty dissapointing though. It's not horrible, but more than anything just very, very dissapointing.

Dexter season 1, 2 and 4 were amazing. After that the series is mostly rinse and repeat. If you want a show that never lets up, watch Game of Thrones.

I'll admit, part of the reason I don't see some shows are because people seem so overly crazy about them. I understand that they're good, but when my Facebook is blowing up and it seems like every person I know is doing the exact same thing on a particular night, it makes me not want to watch the show more than anything else.

I'll watch them, though, probably in the summer when I don't have as many responsibilities. I've heard great things about both Dexter and BB.

I still do recommend Dexter. When it's great, it's ****ing great. It dipped to 'terrible', but rather just not-great.

Breaking Bad, however, hasn't really had a single non-great episode, imo.

I believe you.

My uncle, who never watches television, was hooked to Dexter. He's already given me so many spoilers, but he still recommends that I see it :funny:

That's impressive about BB as well. The last show that I was hooked to like that was Spartacus, and I feel the same way about The Flash right now. It's funny that people tell me they've never seen those shows, while I tell everyone I've never seen shows like BB and Dexter.

The only show I can recommend to anybody is Doctor Who.

and The Flash.

I tried watching Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, and I felt they were overhyped and not quite my kinda thing.

Yeah, I guess that's a logical title for the next Star Wars movie considering the force was asleep during the prequels.

I don't know if your saying that is a coincidence or you visit the lolpics thread too, but i found something similar in that thread.

They used the force to pull their blades.
And Obi used his Jedi mind trick

Just made plans to go see Interstellar tonight. Can't wait and I'll let you all know what I think!

lol. No, I didn't see that pic. Maybe I should work for Comedy Central. :yay:

That post I made was the first thing I thought of when seeing the new title. I really didn't like the prequels--they took things that made the original trilogy so great and ruined them. Maybe this new batch of SW movies will bring back what made them so awesome in the first place.

I fancied seeing it but I don't think my bladder could last three hours. My butt fell asleep watching avatar lol :D

:funny:

Understandable.

However, movies like Avatar, Gravity (what a lot of people are comparing it to), and this itself offer something so different compared to the usual trends we see in films.

Plus, Matthew McConaughey is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. I'll be sure to let you know if it's worth the butt-numbing three hours.

Don't get me wrong, it did look cool. If it was just over two hours I would have seen it. I'll watch it when it's on tv I think haha. But enjoy it and don't drink too much during the film!

The first 2 are kind of boring, but Episode 3 is pretty damn good in my opinion.
