Avengers 2 better rock, man. Looks so sick.
The crazy thing? Multiple film bloggers (including Drew McWeeny and Devin Faraci) are saying that the trailers aren't even showing anything from the third act of the film.

A novel concept, isn't it? *cough Sony cough*

Let's be fair, now. Most of that stuff Sony showed wasn't in the final product at all!![]()
More so TASM1 than TASM2. I think all of the spoilerly third-act stuff in the trailers made into the finished product, e.g. Gwen, Rhino.
I think Goblin had more material in trailers that didn't make the final product than did, plus there was that tank full of symbiote. TASM1 was bad in that regard as well, though. Both films were hacked apart and reconstructed leading up to release, from what I understand.

Tank full of symbiote? I watched just about every trailer and don't remember ever seeing that...
That one is a cracker.Richard Parker's science train...doesn't even feel right to say.
That one is a cracker.
Pete is lucky no one from Oscorp found it before he did.
He took lessons from Batman.I wonder how Richard was even able to build that hidden underground elevating train car lab without anyone noticing?

He took lessons from Batman.
Batman has a batcave prepared in Arkham Island.![]()
The subway scene was really my one bone of contention with the film. The entire movie just grinds to a halt during that scene.
It didn't help that the parent's subplot wasn't resolved in an interesting way or made an impact emotionally. It just didn't resonate with me. Instead, I felt relieved that it was over and we could get back to watching Spider-Man again. That really isn't a good thing when the filmmakers were sort of building up to this whole "untold story" idea--a resolution that leaves you feeling 'meh.'
