I have no doubt about NPH. He's shown a lot of range in the last year or so.

I'm just really upset about Interstellar. I was so blown away by this film, and thought it's the best film of 2014 without a doubt. I was looking forward to the announcement of the nominations just for that movie.

While those snubs were a head scratcher, at least the "Best Picture" (12 Years A Slave) was still justified. The nominations in that category should be perfect.
Yes, I can definatly agree that 12 Years a Slave deserved the best picture. But the preformances and cinamotagraphy in Mr. Banks, Walter Mitty, and 42 were nearly all overlooked. In my opinion, it was the worst year for the Oscars in recent memory. Hopefully this year will make up for it.

Even though I don't agree with their decisions, such as The Lego Movie not getting an animated film nomination, or Gylenhall getting snubbed for Nightcrawler, I'll still watch the awards show because they're fun to watch. Hopefully NPH hosts a good show. Ellen was awesome last year.

That was another head scratcher for me - I thought Gyllenhaal and McConaughey would be guaranteed nominations. I'll be rooting for Eddie Redmayne to pull off an upset.

Which reminds me, have you seen The Theory of Everything yet?

I went on a holiday and bought this fantastic Spider-Man jumper. It's just like wearing the top half of Spidey's suit. I'll have to take a photo of it, I'm sure you'd all like it.

DO IT!!! (i mean take the photo....pleaseeeeee).

I think LEGO movie is overrated, if it won best animated movie this year I would disagree for the moment, then forget the awards.

I wanna have a Skype chat with just the English/Irish/Welsh/Scottish members of the forums. Need to hear those accents.

I tried to watch it - I gave it about five minutes after turning it off.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 will probably win now. Anyone here seen it? And, if so, is it good enough to deserve a win?

I agree. It is overrated.

Yep, same here. The wife and I sat down to watch it on rental after hearing nothing but praise from many people. We turned it off after about 15 minutes. Just horrible. I guess we're in the minority.

I haven't seen the LEGO Movie either, just don't have much interest in it. Surprisingly, I never even got into playing with them as a kid very much though. :p

As for How to Train Your Dragon, I enjoyed the first but haven't gotten around to seeing the second yet.
