Homecoming 2's Company, 3's A Lounge - Part 7

I only saw it once in theaters. Not 'cause I hated it, I actually loved it, it's just that I didn't want to get bored of it from watching it a million times in theaters. And, I've seen it two more times now, it actually gets slightly better on repeated viewings. My lone problem with it is the subway scene. The movie just grinds to a halt at that part.

My biggest problem with the movie is the lack of uncle ben being talked about it the movie. Another then that the movie is just about flawless.

I've seen TASM twice. It's better than TASM2.

You have not watched asm1 or 2 that many times then. To me asm2 is better then asm1 in ever way. Action was way better, soundtrack way better, villain better, story better ever thing.

The next day I took a friend to see it, and I started to notice a lot of things I wish they did more of. Electro's absence stood out more, and the parents subplot scenes started to bore me. The things that consistently impress me with every viewing is Garfield's Spdierman, Dehaan's Harry, and Gwen's death scene.

Sorry to hear. The more I have watched this movie the more impressed I am with it and the more I am confused with the supposed flaws with the movie. The movie dose so many things right and so few things wrong and even the flaws are very small flaws. I will never understand the hate for this movie at all. This movie should be a 90 on RT and should have been a billion dollar movie to me.

Oh I totally agree that it does more right than wrong, the wrong just shows itself more to me on repeat viewings. I still think it's a fine film.

Yeah, it was kinda like Sandman disappearing for 45 minutes after the sewer fight in SM3. That said, whenever Electro was onscreen, it was great. Foxx especially excelled during the Ravencroft scene, as well as the scene when he and Harry break into Menken's office. That stare he gives him is so hateful, it didn't even matter that he didn't have much dialogue.

And the Harry and Electro partnership actually felt pretty fluid, and the scene in ravencroft with Harry begging to Electro was incredibly intense!

The problems I did have with how Harry's character was handled was that they shouldn't have cut out the scenes we saw on the trailer where he attacks Oscorp, I feel like it would've made his goblin feel a lot less shoehorned if they gave us more of it.

I have heard a lot of people say that thing so I know you are no alone. I found harry to be better and better on repeat views. You could see a darkness to him though out the movie and I fell like him felling like peter betrade him was handled while and him being set up for the accident and experiments on electro I thought was great. Because of all those things I think you could see how and why harry would do what he did. I do think electro could have used a better motivation and more screen time has max but harry was quit good.

And yeah, his Goblin needed at least one or two more establishing scenes. At least Electro didn't have that many deleted scenes at all. Except for the scene with Max and his mother, as well as that one section of the morgue scene, Foxx really didn't have that many cut scenes.

Yeah when elector was onscreen it was great. The I am electro thing was badass and the special effects with electro where amazing. It didn't brother me to much with the lack of him for part of the movie. I was brother a lot more by harry losing his meromre for like half of the movie in sm 3 then i was with this and electro. Yeah form the part of the movie where he gets broken out of Ravencroft to the end of the movie I think is the best last 1/3 of any sm movie. The first 1/3 of the movie was kind of slow then the next 1/3 really good and the last 1/3 was perfect. If the first 1/3 was has good has the last 1/3 this movie would be right there with sm 2 has the best sm movie and one of the best CBM ever.

Yeah the jeopardy theme was great and some how the first time I saw the movie I didn't relize that it was the jeopardy theme lol. I know on the comatary they said they had to pay to use that in the movie or something lol. Yes it was intense.

Yeah I love that line about being thrown away and he did a good job of acting in that part. You could tell that he was despert for help and that you knew how electro felt and how to use that to help him. Yeah the goblin sinces on the dvd that where cut would have made a good harry goblin even better plus the longer fight at the end with sm that was delected that we have heard about should have been in the movie to.

Max was scared and angry in Times Square, and he felt safe and reassured when Spidey appeared and told the cops not to shoot at him. When he was shot anyway despite Spidey's promise to keep him safe, he felt that his only friend had turned out to be just as bad as everyone else. So, that's why he lost it.

While I understand that. He was already crazy and unstable and with being shoot act that made him snap has that was his breaking point and ever one has a breaking point. But I do think it was kind of silly for him to snap at sm for that. What would ever one like to added that they think would have made max better? I think it was good that the since with his mom was cut. Ever one talks about the movie being chessy already and the since with his mom was way more chessy then any thing else that was already in the movie.

Nightcrawler, specifically, features an incredible performance by Jake Gyllenhaal. He singlehandedly made that film great (it also makes you feel very uncomfortable).

Gyllenhaal is a really underrated actor. So glad he's getting positive attention. Talent runs in that family.

I plan on watching the Theory of Everything soon, heard great things about the leads. I missed Nightcrawler in theaters but I'm very excited to see that as well. I hear Gyllenhaal goes absolutely nuts in it.

And Interview was one of the best comedies of the year, I watched it 3 times since I bought it (And that ending was nothing short of iconic!)
