The Avengers 3 things YOU WANT to see in the Avengers...

So, basically, this is Thor 2, guest-starring the Avengers?
Or, Iron Man, Hulk, and Cap are just Thor's sidekicks...but when things really get tough, It's A Job For...Thor.

Remember, Loki is the secondary threat, there will be enough of the main threat to go around.

1) A good balance between action and story. I want an absolutely minblowing climax that will make Transformers 3 look like a student film, but I don't want it at the cost of clever dialogue and believable characterisation.

2) Everyone getting a decent amount of screentime, action and dialogue. And decent interactions between the whole team.

3) Hulk vs Thor.

I second this!

This :woot:

Shield Helicarrier

Thor showing awesome feats of power

Black Panther easter egg

Agreed! Say what you want to about he story of the TF movies but the action sequences are always on point and some of the best Ive seen.

I have to wholeheartedly agree with all 3 of UnkillableMic's "wants" as well. (Nice job m8!)
I will also add:
1. More Cap action that displays his power, agility, intelligence and leadership qualities.
2. After conflicting egos and mini-power struggles, the whole team learns to respect and ultimately accept Cap as leader.
3. A scene in Banner's subconscious in which he confronts his Hulk alter-ego.
(4. More of Asgard and the other realms!)

I want a defining moment between banner and Hulk. Where the threat is pretty much full blown and everyone is geared up and ready, so banner speaks to Hulk and says something like "I can't do it, and they can't do it without you, everything is at stake, they need you, I need you and most importantly the world needs you. " or something to that effect. Basically a scene showing Hulk step up as a big player and hero. It also would give a little characterization and show that hulk and banner two different personalities.

A scene between cap and Hulk similar to the one shown in EMH, where cap shows his belief in Hulk.

Great CGI for Hulk.

Well since everyone has already said Cap saying Avengers Assemble it'd be kind of pointless for me to say that as well so my Top 3 things i want to see

1. Good Action nothing cheesy like the Cap action sequences
2. A Well done Hulk vs Thor Fight Longer about 8 minutes or so
3. Hulkbuster Armor!!!!!

1. Cap shouting "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE" :woot:
2. A refrence to another Marvel character.
3. An overall kik ass film being true to the comics.
==============================================
4* Would LOVE a refrence to another Marvel film thus leading up to an epic cross over, but this of course won't happen.

It would not surprise me in the least if Marvel Studios had a team checking online forums and sites, to 1. Make sure not too much unnofficial/leaked stuff appears; 2. See how the fan response to their approach goes over, not for filmmaking give or take decisions, more of just to see the reactions and if they wanna throw a bone to us; and 3. If they see ideas they like and they do it their way.

1. Hulk actually being allowed to be a character rather than just a special effect that fights/smashes stuff.

2. Hulk throwing down with the rest of the team.

3. Helicarrier.

Wouldn't it be nice if a Marvel Studios exec stumbled across this thread? :p

It wouldn't suprise me if more than a few executives were keeping an eye on threads like these. I'm sure Marvel has some of the most dedicated community managers of all time.

I'm sure they do occasionally.
I actually want to see a more hightech Modok running AIM at some point, or just the inclusion of AIM instead of Hydra with only hints at MODOK, and maybe a reveal that AIM really has been working with ex-Hydra members this whole time. Also Loki using some upgraded/new powers and Absorbing man vs Hulk in addition to the Thor vs. Hulk battle.

I would'nt mind seeing AIM in the Avengers, I would definately be excited to see MODOK make an appearance.

As much as I like MODOK and would love to see him in an MCU movie at some point, he is extremely difficult to do without seeming cheesy.

Someone suggested having Peter Dinklage play MODOK, which I think would work. The character design would have to be modified drastically, of course, but it could be done in a way that presented MODOK quasi-realistically on film.

MODOK just would not work on film. There are other characters to use.

IMO, the way to sell MODOK in live action would be to make him really disgusting and disturbing looking. You basically would have to go all in otherwise he'd seem laughable.

Think Grendel from Zemekis's Beowulf movie level disturbing/disgusting(even though they look nothing alike).

If they can pull off Jabba the Hut, they can pull off MODOK.

1) Hulk throwing down with the other Avengers until Thor fights him to a standstill.

2) Fury, Hawkeye and Widow actually do some kickass stuff of their own.

3) Go all out. Don't make it feel like its too much setup for the inevitable sequel. Use every penny of that huge budget.

@ Kedrell

The time when Jabba the Hutt first appeared on film is IMO a different time from now with a different cinematic audience. Right now the GA has a very sensitive mentality to anything cheesy; people found the Hydra salute in CA:TFA cheesy. There was a time when that would have been perfectly acceptable. I think less in appearance and more in attitude might make MODOK work; really dread, evil, merciless....have him brutally killing and torturing people with his mental powers.
