^If Raimi does want S-M3 to be his last movie,then adding the Lizard makes sense since he wanted to have the Lizard in part 2.It doesn't need to take the whole movie to tell his story.

A guy who is missing a limb injects himself with the DNA of a lizard because lizards regrow limbs,but instead of just regrowing his limb,he becomes the Lizard.(That wouldn't even take 5 minutes to explain it to moviegoers)

Dr.Connors studies a piece of the symbiote that spidey gives him and Dr.Connors finds out that it can regenerate cells,so he mixes it with lizard DNA and creates the monster the Lizard.

The Lizard could fight spidey in a little action scene in Dr.Connors lab when spidey comes back to meet Dr.Connors for the symbiote results.In the spidey movies the Lizard couldn't be a main villain anyway since he wouldn't be able to talk.

I think he is just gonna be Beck doing some experiments with his head... but not actually Myserio... this was hyped up to be 100000000 times more than what it really will be... nothing more than a cameo of a guy named Beck annoying Parker... thanks Arad and Raimi for starting this mess when it is probably nothing at all to begin with... I thought they only did this just to add to the hype when everyone found out Venom was in the flick... they needed to give the fans something...

i personally find it more believable than Mysterio being in SM3...he doesn't have an established character (not that he really needs one i suppose) and it would be terrific to see Spider-Man go to Connors for help with the symbiote.

and also...Bruce Cambell as Mysterio would confuse people as he has noticeable had cameos in the last 2 and i think it would confuse the general movie going public.

Keep Bruce away from villians, just keep the funny cameos going.

For it to cause MASS hysteria, it would have to be somewhat shocking and surprising, funny as hell, or a major dislike and disapointment. I don't think anyone will feel that way about any one choice with Bruce being Mysterio. Many have already made up their minds of the possibility and is well prepared for it.

For it to cause MASS hysteria, it would have to be somewhat shocking and surprising, funny as hell, or a major dislike and disapointment. I don't think anyone will feel that way about any one choice with Bruce being Mysterio. Many have already made up their minds of the possibility and is well prepared for it.

I think Raimi or Arad or whoever the **** it was was just bull sh:tting us with this quote... it's prolly a cameo... how does that equate to a fourth villain... that's like saying Bone Saw is the second villain in SM1... think about it... one: Bone Saw filled in for the humor... two : he tangled with SPiderman... that's the same thing Mysterio will be... only half of that...

Why is it stupid? Cause it just leaves more uncertainty after the end of this one... Everyone (except Dunst) has shown interest in returning... but that's not the point because no one has plans of coming back... if anything... maybe COnners will make a reference to the serum and that's it... if that's what your looking for then you might get it... but as far as taking it and turning into Lizard at any point in the film is a waste

Why does it make sense? Cramming the origin of a major villain in an already jam packed movie??? Makes sense that he could be the fourth villain? Absolutely... only cause he is the logical choice (since has been introduced), but there is a difference between a logical choice and a choice that makes sense... Lizard origin makes no sense (at least in my opinion) when you already have the symbiate... (possibly) a new Uncle Ben killer... Love triangle... yada yada
