4th VILLIAN IS THERE!!!

Nope. The Lizard is not in SM3. Plain and simple. It just doesn't make any sense. I repeat what I said earlier:

^It does make sense.If this is Raimi's last movie.Raimi wanted to have the villain in S-M2.Dylan Baker signed onto S-M2 thinking he was going to be a villain(Lizard).You think Dylan Baker would come back after that to do another small role?(It would be another slap to the face)

Dr.Connors is a scientist,spidey could go to him for help about the symbiote.Dr.Connors could use a piece of the symbiote to regrow his arm,and when spidey comes back for the results,he encounters the Lizard.

The thing people don't even realize,or they forget,is that awesome train fight with Doc Ock was three minutes long,and that's including the fight on the clock tower before they land on the train.

So even if spidey fought the Lizard for a full minute,it will be amazing.Villains don't need a whole hour of action screen time to make them awesome.

And Dr.Connors would be part of the symbiote story,it's not like he is a character that is doing his own thing that just got thrown into the movie just for spidey to have someone else to fight.

Plus they already did most of the Lizard CGI model work for S-M2,so there doesn't need to be that much time to go into him to put him in.

If anything Mysterio wouldn't make any sense,because moviegoers would be like ok,where did he get that stuff,and how did he do that,and with no explanation,it would suck.

in the right context...almost anything could work...and none of us really know exactly what direction SM3 will be taking.

i personally find the Lizard to be much more realistic given the current context created by the past films than just some random villian other than a b-c lister like the Shocker who don't really need introduction and can just be fun to see spidey kick the crap out of.

in the right context. exactly. but this is not the right context for the lizard. what place does he have amidst the story of the symbiote with peter/spider-man...or harry vs. peter...or sandman...or eddie brock's troubles that eventually lead to the creation of venom?

his role in this film is completely unnecessary, and raimi knows that. he would never just throw a majoy villian in for fun. he serves no purpose telling this story.

It's really difficult to imagine how Raimi could do a villian like the Lizard justice considering he has:
-An alien suit/internal struggles of Parker issue to explore
-Sandman's threat to produce
-The development of Eddie Brock
-Introduction and temptations of Gwen Stacy
-Problematic and ethical issues of the Green Goblin II
-Mary-Jane's relationship with Peter
etc...

i don't know who or where you heard this from, but i'm betting it's not true. did he set up dock ock in SM1? no. sandman in SM2? the only "set-up" was harry, and that was completely necessary. the most we'll see is some lizard pictures in connors lab, as more of a nod to the character than anything.
