Mad MoneyShe was busy shooting another movie. can't remember the name, something stupid.
She chose to do that movie, rather than The Dark Knight.

wasnt she also fired too?
They could use the businessman Lex angle and Superman would be shocked to find "the greatest criminal mind of our time" has seemingly gone legit.Superman Returns
I would change just about everything, but here's an idea: Instead of growing the ******ed death continent, Lex uses the stolen krystals to fake a Kryptonian invasion! That's right, straight out of "Birthright". However, thanks to Superman's unexplained absence, it would be all too easy for Lex to create a bogus story to go with it: Upon learning of Krypton's location, Superman took off to rejoin his people and plan an invasion, as he was essentially an advance scout. Supes comes back with a suspicious explanation of his departure, and shortly after comes the Kryptonian army to conquer Earth. Now that's mind over muscle!
I agree. I went even further and wished that it was his character instead of dawes as bruce's childhood friendTDK - Length issues. I think had the film been about 15 mins tighter it would have made for an even better movie, the problem being every time I watch it I can't figure out which sequences one could trim. The Honkers sequence is the obvious one that could have used some work, other than that, not sure.
TDK - Stretch the fall of Harvey Dent over two films. Yes he lost the love of his life and sure he was pissed and all but Dent's fall from grace was still a bit too quick for my liking.
Superman Returns - Different actress for Lois Lane. Did anyone seriously look at Bosworth and see a career minded 30-something single mother? Her child looked like her kid brother.
Superman Returns - Add some freaking action. It's all there in the bloody trailer, the rest of the film is just a lot of flying around. Superman 2 had one-tenth the budget and people where throwing buses around for crying out load.
Catwoman - Would have scrapped this from the start.
your batman changes are amazingly very spot-on.Y'now this thread will be locked cuz you didn't write "Reboot" in the title, right? Just kidding!
Superman III- Brainiac as the main villian who hunts Supergirl (sole survivor of a sister planet to Kryton) after she seeks refuge on Earth. That's where she befriends Superman who becomes her mentor leading off to her spin off solo film. Maybe she could even battle a red Krytonite influenced Superman.
Superman 4-vs Bizarro and Metallo
Superman Returns-Being that Superman 3 and 4 were released still as they actually came out as (Richard Pryor,Nuclear Man,ect). On his mother's birthday,Superman returns from a long exile in space and finds earth more of a hell hole than he left it. Luthor's influence has risen him to presidency and has hired Metallo as insurance if the Man of Steel ever returned.Lois is engaged still but doesn't have a child.Brainiac is introduced ever so subtly as a subplot.
Batman 1-Have Michael Keaton get in considerably better shape, show him sparring with a martial arts student or teacher and give any indication of why he used a bat theme. Batman Forever did this pretty well but I'd rather it have been discussed within either of the first Burton films.
Batman Returns-Make Max Shreck Harvey Dent as originally intended, give Catwoman a better orgin and make the Penguin odd but not so freakish looking.
Batman Forever-Made Tommy Lee Jones or Billy Dee Williams' Two Face a tragic character with a soul divided rather than a sad immitation of the Joker, keep Edward Nigma as a disgruntled, unbalanced employee of Wayne Industries but lose the "brain drain" machine,no neon and a younger Dick Grayson.
Batman and Robin-Make Mr.Freeze's character much more like Arnold's Terminator 1 character, make Bane debut imn another sequel instead of this movie and have him not only a physical threat but a psychologic threat as well, make Poison Ivy chill on the "love dust" and look hot rather than ridiculous, keep the fall out between Batman and Robin but keep out Batgirl.

Batman Begins: Rachel Dawes does not exist. Instead, Bruce Wayne's childhood friend Harvey Dent is the voice of reason. He's a rising attorney in the DA's office, with a strong drive to clean up Gotham. He grew up considering the Wayne's his family...and after their deaths...he became a crime fighter the way Bruce's dad would envision one, through the legal system. He still tells Bruce that his father would be ashamed of him for having a gun. While Bruce is consumed by his demons, Harvey works to make things right...and becomes the white knight of Gotham. I think that this slight change would make it all the more tragic when Batman has to take down Dent in TDK.
well in the second movie he was just recently hired as the new DA since that other DA was killed in the first movie if i recall.
Dent did just kind of come out of nowhere. Aside from having a "love interest", Rachel served no purpose that could not have been performed by Harvey in Batman Begins.
Although...you could have had Harvey with a girlfriend in Begins...they are engaged in TDK, and when she dies it sends him over the edge.
What this does is two-fold...in Begins, it sets up a situation where Batman envies Dent...because he is unable to have a relationship. This sort of reverence to his friend, who has grown up to become everything that Bruce's dad would have wished for his own son...would be a strong driving force for Batman supporting Harvey Dent's war on crime. Then, when the inevitable turn came...taking down Dent would have been a very hard thing for Batman to do...and at the same time...the death of Dent's fiance, and his tragic end would further solidify that Batman CANNOT have a life outside of his mission. He cant fall in love. He cant be happy. If he does, tragedy will follow...and his mission is too important to waste on selfishness.
