great catch.. :)

Clark has already influenced journalism in so many ways.. :woot:

I thought the episode was very "meh."

A few things that stuck out to me:

1.) Super-breath. The first time he used it was just ridiculous. Did they really need to spend all of that money to show it to us? C'mon, that's almost as pointless as the "inner ear superhearing." Once is okay, but if they do it on a regular basis I will be VERY upset.

2.) Chloe's reasoning behind the super-breath. If Clark has *always* had this lung capacity, why is he just learning about it now? You'd think he would have accidentally blown a couch across the room while extinguishing a candle or something.

3.) Clark blowing the clouds away at the end. WHAAAAT? Uber-cheese.

4.) The acting. Acting in this episode just was not very good. The villain of the week was awful, and Justin Hartley was terrible IMO. Wasn't he supposed to be uber-good in that Aquaman pilot? I hope he improves in time.

5.) Lana was being super irrational in this episode and it frustrated me.

6.) I don't like the way they're handling the "Lex forgot about his time as Zod" stuff.

Other than that, this was NOT a bad episode...just a mediocre one. It was a lot funnier (intentionally or not) than a lot of recent episodes, more lighthearted. If some of my above points had been tweaked a bit, I think the episode would have been immensely more enjoyable.

I thought that was great the way that her epiphany about journalism came about because something fell out of the sky.

Now her and Perry have something in common. :woot:

I can see it now

Perry: This one time I was in Smallville near the Kent farm when an object fell from the sky. Clark said it was nothing but . . . .

Lois: Umm Chief that's was a story about what happened to me one day.

Perry: Nu-Uh!

Lois: Uh Huh.

Perry & Lois: Hmmmm. You dont think . . . Naaaah

:hyper:

Here is the main reason Why I The comics, Lois became a reporter.

Excatly, I agree with this 100% .
She also grows to become a great writer. She wouldn't be a Pulitzer winner if she wasn't. One of the reasons she became a reporter in the first place is because she just loves to watch the bad guys squirm.

I'm just gonna pretend that didn't happen.

Hartley wasn't good at all as Ollie. Not at all. He was WAY better as A.C./Orin. The role just suited him.

Fairly gratifying SV episode. I'll admit that I had my concerns that Sneeze was going to sink after its predecessor episode, Zod, but after the teaser trailers, it sure didn't disappoint. They did a commendable job on realistically bringing the super breath to life. The slow-mo super breath was most pleasing, but then again, were all of Clark's powers not? Granted, the zooming into the ear when he got super hearing was a shabby job at best and a waste of money, but that discussion is for another thread, if any.

I loved Chlark working together, solving cases, and I can see that I'm not alone. Chloe was funny with her subtle humor. She hasn't made me laugh this hard since Vengeance in the previous season, so I believe she deserves at least *SOMETHING. *For your sake, I do hope you're reading this, Stanley Hubbard.

Again, Lois was great, but was lacking in, I don't know, screen time? Seriously, I demand more Lois. I can't help, but feel that Chloe is the Lois in the SV mythology, despite the fact that there is already a Lois, and that isn't that far off either. They might as well switch characters. That aside, it was about time that she embraced her inner journalist and made the frontpage. From this side, it looked like Chloe was actually happy for her cousin, not jealous or overprotective, but I have a knack for forgetting details, so I might have to go over it again when it comes online for our personal viewing pleasure. Of course, I always loved the random Superman references that they insert into SV. Like how Lois can't spell.

Lana feisty. The writers have been listening to my prayers. I hope they keep this up and bring out the fighter in Lana every week because, uh, rough sex sells?

I wasn't all that impressed by GA and Hartley didn't bring anything to the table worth writing home to other than his attraction and meek acting, but I don't think that I'm in any position to judge him yet, considering the fact that I only saw him in two scenes and he wasn't bad enough to make me cringe. I am interested in how his character will develop throughout the season. I won't lie. It was simply a flawless effect when GA fired his arrow and landed it on the Daily Planet globe. I'm looking forward to see what he has planned for Clark.

Where was Jimmy?

"Huff, puff, and blow that door down." We can always count on Chloe for good quotes.

I love your avatar I was thinking about using that but now I am turing that part into an Owned gif showing the whole clip with Owned when he sticks it in her hand.

I want to make a music video mix of all the Smallville scenes that show Lana being brutalized. Should be entertaining.

LOL. Yes I can feel your hatred. Give into it. It will make you powerful.

If I hadnt seen the Aquaman pilot, I might've agreed about his acting, but he's not too bad. Rewatch the scene again, you can see he's purposely acting smug...sort of like when my wife asks me if I left the toilet seat up again (knowing full well I did since there's only 2 of us here) and I respond with "Whatever are you talking about, woman?" :D

He's night and day between that scene and the scene at the end.

I agree.

Why did she start running all goofy at the end???

She was probably trying to match the music beats to what ever song she was listening to

I thought that later, but when I was watching the scene it just seemed off. She was moving in a nice steady pace and then she just started to do that goofy jig. I know it happens in real life, but on screen it really didn't jive.
