The Poison Ivy rip-off villian annoyed me

1. No BATMAN to Battle Ivy's vines and plants

2. The way she died was so cheap .

Way to go smallville

I think, the plant lady, was just a sample villain of the week, to show Clark that he wasn't the only one that came back from the zone, her death was kinda weak, I hoped for a better or longer fight, but, they could of at least had some cooler effects (she just kinda disappeared) she should of like turn into vines and dried up, or something.
but, its the 3rd episode of the season, you gotta expect some filler episodes, with some random villain with powers.
though, was he really just in his killing of her

Aight... something only a fangirl would probably notice... but Lana's eye makeup. Wazzup with that? Those little highlight thingys in the corner of her eyes were the same as she had in Thirst. *shudder*

And while I'm atit... I'm proud of this group of fans. Yes, very VERY proud. Nobody is PISSING and MOANING yet about the Lex/Lana make-out scene at the end. Hah! For all those that noticed, just close your eyes folks and pretend it never happened. :p

Poor Clark. The lonely road to being a hero indeed. :(

Oh, and one last thing, Hartley earned his reprieve tonight. He was much, MUCH better than last week. I didn't notice the actor, acting. And that scene with the flip top and the arrow at the end. Brilliant. Me likey. :D

Clark fighting Poison Ivy... err... PZ vine chick could have been a little better, but the arm splayed Christ metaphors prior to that sorta made up for it, I guess. :p

All in all, not a bad episode, but next week's ep looks amazing.

Ok I loved Jimmy & Chloe relationship in this episode [Their relationship is very entertaining.]

The one thing I didn't like was the fact that Clark never actually got a chance to talk to Martha about the fact that there could have been multiple escapees from the Phantom Zone like Plant Tramp. This better be addressed in the next episode.

Absolutely, in regards to Hartley. He's growing on me (someone please tell me they caught that pun).

"Arrow" should be the episode that really kick starts this season after two 'mehs' in the form of "Sneeze" and "Wither". That trailer literally had me: :wow:

I still think that this episode confirmed that they are going to focus more on Lex & Lana this year. Clark gets to beat villians within 1 minute with Chloe showing up each time just in the nick of time to save Clark.

I did find it funny that Clark was very quick to hit on Plant Tramp early in the episode. He seems kinda desperate, like lonely people tend to be. :down

LMAO!!! A moniker is born.

I wonder how many episodes this season will end with Clark alone in the barn or somewhere on the farm

I thought this episode was a step up from last week's episode. I guess I was the only one. Poor Clark being lonley...reminds me of High School. :o haha. BTW next episode looks awesome!

lol clark probably has a box full of bouncy balls for the whole season, one for each day of the week :D

The Good.

1. Jimmy & Chloe - [Very Entertaining]

2. Lex & Clark no longer friends - [It's about time]

3. Clark - [A Hero in The making]

4. Lois Lane - [she was mostly in this episode for comedy & Eye candy, still she was good]

The ok

Oliver Queen - He still acts like Bruce Wayne damnit

Lois & Oliver - Meh It's ok

The Bad

The Poison Ivy Rip-off girl

No Lionel

5/10 -[not a bad episode, not a good one, just an ok episode.]

I didn't see his flirting with her as a sign of him being desperate, I was thinking it was like a pheromone reaction, that she gives off

I like him. Was a little worried after Sneeze, but it must have just been a hiccup or something. Thank goodness! *phew*

I liked Sneeze for the humor; new power episodes - even Whisper - have always been enjoyable on some level. But Arrow looks like it's gonna be a great ep. The writers are really playing up the connection between characters - especially the "big three." All of that "the closer you get to (x), the more likely you are to finding out who (x) really is" stuff. I think they would call that an "anvil." ;)

what are you talking about, shes an alien, who just happens to have the same powers as ivy, anyway atleast, they ripping off DC villians lol

I guess all of the special F/X budget has been spent this quarter.

I don't want to go all season watching Clark mope around. That's one reason alot of people didn't like a certain movie.

:woot: Do remember that these types of effects are getting easier to produce, so they can probably do more of them at a cheaper price than in the past.

I did to. I'm glad they are taking this route instead of trying to turn her into a lesbian like they were eluding to last season.
P.S.- How much do you want to bet before the end of the season we'll see Lana and Lois kiss? I hope I'm wrong but anything to boost ratings, I'm betting they'd try it. :o

1. She a redhead

2. she has an "Obsession" with planet life

3. She uses her pheromone to control Men

4. She can control planets mainly Vines

5. She planed to procreate the human race with Planets .

It doesn't matter if she's an Alien from the phatom Zone, She a Poison Ivy Rip-off damnit . :cmad:
