the last 5 epsiodes are aftermath of veritas which is supposed to be big one(lex may kill lionel, clark accpets who he is, clark vs brianiac ) all of these ecents suppsed to be hapenn in veritas

The obvious question, who is the "sleeper"? :sleepy: :oldrazz:

Maybe someone in a coma state? Let the speculation begin! :woot:

Same as Torchwood season 2 episode 2 just aired a couple of weeks ago.
Means nothing though. I remember when both heroes and smallville were airing 'fallout' around the same time and there has always been loads of 'homecoming''s

Didn't see it posted here, but

From K-Site

UPDATED 3/12/08:Casting notices have gone out for a blonde femme fatale named "Vanessa." Vanessa is a spy investigating one of Smallville's major characters. (Meaning, it's either Clark, Lex, Lana, or Chloe who's being spied on)

I reckon it's Clark and this sort of pushes him into creating a secret identity i.e. Met Clark Kent which wouldn't draw attention to himself.

But which way will they play it? Is Superman Clark's alter-ego or is Clark Superman's alter-ego. For Reeve's Superman, Clark was the disguise. For Cain's Superman, Superman was the disguise.

I think Cain's version is more how it would play out in real life. Oddly, this is yet another way to separate Batman from Superman. Batman is so consumed that Bruce Wayne is truly the disguise.

Although I've never been a big fan of Batman, this is one thing I really like about him. The roles are reversed, where the costume represents who he is, while the public persona is the disguise.

Yea I remember BR saying in an interview for Superman Returns that he essentially plays 3 characters. There is Clark, who is the mild mannered reporter. There is Superman, who is the hero that the public adores. Then there is Kal-El, who is more of who Superman is when he's alone at the farm or the Fortress, and isn't in the public eye.

The thing about Smallville's Clark is that he is "Kal-El", only with the acceptance of his Kryptonian heritage. But you're right, it does seem that Clark is a disguise (with glasses that act as a mask), and Superman is also a disguise (because he is in the public eye, and tries to set a good example to all)

I read somewhere( wikipedia) that Clark was going to be the real personality of Superman

Clark being the real person and Superman as the disguise makes sense in the context of this show. Maybe the reverse worked for the Donner films, but I always liked it when they have Clark being the dominant personality and Superman being the disguise (the only thing I liked about "Lois and Clark" series).

If they're casting a spy and the episode is again about someone researching a character, then why the title "Sleeper"?

maybe thats the spies code name i.e. Sleeper hold lol

New spoilers from Kryptonsite:

MSN Description (added 4/4/08): Clark desperately searches for Brainiac, the only one who can reverse Lana's condition; Chloe, in her search for large power surges, breaks into several government computers; Jimmy gets caught between Lex and the Department of Security.

Sounds good, but chloe breaking into gov't computers is too much. Really? Gov't computers getting hacked by some 20 year old girl?
