Yeah. Just a hunch. My gut feeling is TV Guide wouldn't describe Lex and Lana as "rewriting comic-book history."

Clark Kent and Lana having SEX, yes.

Lois Lane DATING Green Arrow, yes.

But Lex and Lana doing the horizontal jig? Nah. It's just not that big of a deal, IMHO. Who knows though? Guess we'll find out in about two weeks.

I read somewhere else, that it was implied in the Saturday morning cartoon show that Lex and Lana were doin' it. So even if that is what they are referring to, its been there and done that before.

In Superman : The animated series [Lex & lana] were in a relationship. [before The episode "My Girl"] However I don't think it went very far due to Lex 's bodyguard Mercy Graves . She was very overprotective of Lex in his relationship with other woman in the series in general, [I think she had strong feelings for Lex, But Lex was to blind to notice Mercy had any romantic feelings for him .]

because in Superman TAS. Lana didn't really know Lex and after she found out what he was really about she dumped him.

In SV Lana came in the relationship knowing full well that Lex couldn't be trusted and that perhaps there was something sinister about him. The way he turned on her about the stones should've been evident that the dude has issues. It just seems like it is just a situation that the writers are forcing on the audience. It just doesn't make sense with the 5 year history that we already have established.

Cartoon Lana lang was vasly smarter then the smallville version.

I agree on that, I liked cartoon lana to a certain degree .
