Gloria (possibly Poison Ivy) turns out to be a very bad girl. They find the body of the real female ranger, and the the young couple is pulled into the woods by vines. In addition, Chloe has to save Jimmy when she realizes he is sick because he has some poisonous seeds implanted inside him.

So its the vines that are withering people to death.

Oh! So Gloria is a bad guy. I wonder if the "lumberjack" is a cohort (tree people?) who is jealous of her dancing with Clark then.

I'm also thinking that Clark dancing with her may just be a ploy to get to know what exactly she is up to. The lumberjack could be one of her side kicks and it would be pretty cool if she was Poison Ivy.

Or, just Clark wanting to dance with a pretty girl now that he's single again.

Or.. maybe she's really smart and she's the one who asks *him* to dance.

I'm not trying to judge the ep yet. All I'm saying is I hope her powers don't come from K, and she doesnt just disappear after the ep is over. (How many potential Supervillians can Clark be blamed for I mean really come on?)

Raku had I think the best solution to help change the potential FOTW mold though.

You know how to avoid a FOTW episode?
Rename the character "Pamela."

Even if they find out her real name is Pam later, it would sit with me better.

I dont think that gloria character is Posion Ivy. I wonder if the movie dept will allow considering they may want her in the Nolan/Bale franchise ( I thought they were always those crossover issues)
