Nolan himself said Bane's involved from Empire.

I honestly hope it's Batman's first run in with Bane as opposed to anything from the indian shoot like Bane origin or Prison Breakout scenes. I'd venture he's not fully established as Bane in the latter.

I highly doubt the prologue has anything to do with Batman since it involves Bane. This is the first six minutes of the film, no way would they start Batman fighting Bane without establishing Bane first.

My guess is that it involves Bane coming into Gotham (wasn't there a dock sequence mentioned), Bane's life before coming into Gotham or any of the things that they filmed early on like the india shoot, plane sequence etc.

They're not going to just jump into Batman and Bane fighting in a six to a seven minute scene. That would be like Joker during the Bank Heist and Batman just dropping in, confronting him. This is going to be used to set up the character of Bane, not Batman vs. Bane.

Our first best look at what he's got up his sleeve will be the six-minute prologue sequence in IMAX that is playing exclusively in front of the 70MM IMAX engagements of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol." The people who I've talked to who have seen the six-minute segment just smile at the mention of it, and I've been told to expect something on a much larger scale than the opening bank robbery from "The Dark Knight" which played in front of the IMAX prints of "I Am Legend." That's going to be the moment where we really get a sense of what tone to expect from this one, and I'm willing to bet it's going to be very different than either of the first two films.

What's also exciting about that is that it means in only a few weeks time, we'll know how the actual movie opens... Begins had the bats culminating into the symbol, TDK had blue flames shaping into the batsymbol, I wonder what TDKR will be considering we're now certain it's the intro? Any theories?
