Thank you. I've been reading all these posts about where did she get her clothes from.

Helloooooo...... superspeed...... she ripped them off from a store. :woot: Or she could have done a Terminator and went to a strip club. :woot: :cwink:

You're welcome. I -have- always been good at pointing out the painfully obvious. Glad someone finally appreciates it =P

Hmm....

Well, after looking through this thread I think I liked this episode more than most did.

*shrug*

Anyway, my review's up: http://www.kryptonsite.com/karareview.htm

Sorry for the late post Trip, but great review. If you read mine, you'll see that I also liked it more than most around here.

So far I'm really enjoying Kara, but have gripes in other places.:cwink:

Yes....I (and most likely the others too) know that is probably what was done....but I personally feel it should have been explained more.

Does it really matter where she got her clothes from?

It's kind of like wondering if the character's on the show ever have to go to the bathroom.:oldrazz:

I actually liked Grant and I think him pitting Chloe agaist Lois has very interesting potential as far as creating conflict is concerned, but other than that I agree with almost everything you said.

Nice review Brainy, although I totally disagree with you about Grant. :ninja:

I was just being silly so I hope you didnt take it personally. :O

However, Smallville never goes to a place to explain stuff that they think the audience could piece together themselves or fanwank. :cwink: There's always just too much going on in episodes for them to take the time out and give us a scene of Kara shoplifting. Besides, she probably did it in superspeed and we wouldnt have been able to see her anyway. :cwink:

Yeah, acquiring an outfit for blending in was probably part of her mission training like learning English.

BTW, did anybody else find that "Girls mature faster than boys" line painfully ironic? A) because she was looking for a 3 year old who grew 15 years ahead of her and b) Clark grows up to be Super"man" while she forever remains Super"girl".

Here is my review for "Kara".

I know the new episode is tomorrow, but read and let me know what you think if you want. :)

Enjoyed reading your review. My verdict is still out on the editor. Just need to see a little more. Loved your points on the Kara/Clark relationship. I love seeing Clark being more proactive and his "big brother" side is so endearing! A real testament to the great job of parenting that Martha and Jonathan did. :yay:

that avatar is SO wrong.... :D

Yet, hilarious! :woot:

Ok, let me explain a little about Grant. I don't know if I'll end up liking the character in the long run, but as of right now he irritates me. I don't think it's the way the character is either, since he fits the mold of steriotypical young go getter career guy, and they don't usually irritate me that much.

I think it's the actor, but it was his first episode and he may grow on me. I hope so, because he did something that I have been waiting for...which is getting Lois in the DP. That in of itself may make up for me not caring for his character.

Who knows though, its still early. I may ultimately end up liking him, and I'll be the first to say that my pre-judgement was wrong.

One of my favorite things about the episode was how they clicked in the big brother/little sister sort of way. I hope we see more of it. I think this will lead to some major growth on Clark's part.

I really liked the episode, only slightly less than the premiere.

I'll always forgive you Brainy. 'Sides, I was just messin' with ya. :cwink:

You're one of my buds.

Since I enquired about it....then obviously it does matter to me. I thought this place was here for discussion of the episodes.

can someone link me to a 7.02 ep torrent that DOES NOT have some stupid french/spanish subtitles? :(

She didn't even know she was in suspended animation that long & Clark & Kara don't even know who they eventually become. Also, a nickname is a nickname, it means nothing. I could call someone "little boy", doesn't mean they are little. Besides, Kara was probably only joking anyway.

About the new editor, who does that guy still get a job, Zach was perhaps the secondmost boring guy ever on the OC and now he's here to bore us on smallville.

Uninteresting fact - Zach on the OC said Superman was his favourite superhero

As already stated, a nickname is just a nickname to go by. Those are just titles that people know them by. Just look at the Backstreet Boys, they arent really boys anymore are they? They are grown men. Should they change their name to Backstreet Guys or Backstreet Men? No. Why? The general public know them as Backstreet Boys
