Is it me or did nobody else notice that? That had better not be the whole Harry-Peter fight because Peter's tie and shirt are fine then ripped then fine again and Harry doesn't slash him. I would never notice it had I not seen the 7 minute clip but I do hope they fix it and add all of the 7 minute fight to keep it consistent.
I just watched it and noticed that as well. Why would they change that?![]()
They change it so they hold out more footage for people to see in theaters. I don't think they cut it from the actual film.

The shot of Harry grabbing Peter's mouth and the two struggling on the board was one of my FAVORITE shots of all the footage we've seen from this film.
That's how upset I'll be if it's omitted. GRRRRR!![]()
I also saw somewhere a different version of the part of the fight in the alley when Pete throws a pumkin bomb/bat or whatever they are called back at Harry. In the seven minute clip it hit him and he pulled it out, in the other version I saw Harry detonated it before it hit him. Any one else seen this, I think it was the Stars behind the scenes thing or something.
It will be in there. All those clips are edited heavily, it added more but it never showed how he got cut in the last clip. So I know they will have it in it.
I mean watch the Bell Tower, it does not show Eddie rip off his sweat shirt, like we've seen. These promo clips are heavily edited always have been always will be.
You got nothing to worry about cmill.
I agree. When they showed the clips for Superman Returns last summer, they cut a line of dialogue out of one scene (for the online clips only). It happened during the scene when Luthor says to Kitty "I want to bring fire to the people, and I want my cut." Also, the Peter-Harry fight scene, they don't show how Peter's shirt got ripped like they did on the NBC preview. All in all,I thought every clip was purely awesome. Can't wait til May 4thI'm pretty sure these clips online are cut up and don't show some of the greatest parts of these scenes.
Spider-Man IS a cartoony character, he´s a man who moves like no human being can, that will never look entirely realistic, would they in theory do a lot of motion capture, say? They would, but they would have to downplay it a lot cuz of the distances and complexity of movements and we´d lose a lot of the spectacle and vertigo and kinetic energy of Spider-man, you see a human being moving with a speed and impulse that no human being can, something in your brain will always tell you something is wrong, the idea that Spider-Man can do all those spectacular things and still look totally realistic is nothing but a fanboy illusion, period.Jonah,
This franchise isn't immune to the "Trilogy Curse" mainly because of the first film. I don't care how much it made, it's just not that great a film, compared to part two and probably part three.
The first film will be the ball-headed stepchild of this series. Count on that.
As for the CG Sly, cartoony is cartoony, no matter the resolution. The first two films have been out on DVD for years and, especially the first film, Spider-Man still has that rubbery look. Again, Sony Pictures Imageworks just can't seem to get it 100% right, even with a [b[300 million dollar budget[/b] (see this link for why I say 300 million http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/uh-oh-johnny-pirates-of-the-caribbean-3-unfinished-300-mil/)
