BOP was a good idea but they excuted it badly. Its more likley the episode will be about davis bloome and his killing then BOP.

Well with embargo with no batman i doubt they could get the rights to do BOP. And with mm being in the episode its more then likely its about davis bloome/doomsday and a killing spree episode.

We already have Black Canary and she's a member of the Birds. We could get Helena Bertinelli too rather than Helena Wayne. I'd say barbara would be too far under the Bat umberella though. Even if Nolan vows never to use her *scowls*

I don't understand Americans and themed episodes based on when they air. In the UK we reserve that for Christmas

As i said before its doubtful it will be a BOP episode more likely then not it will be about davis bloome and him blacking out and having a kill spree. And the 4 characters appearing along with MM are likely to be Clark/Chloe since they are both set for all 22 episodes, Davis/doomsday, and a toss up between jimmy/tess for the 4th spot. I doubt it will be lois since this is likely to be her first not appearing episode of the season since she is in the first 5 episodes and right now still only going to appear in 12-13 episodes so we will have to miss a few here and there then. And doubt ollie will be in the episode because i figure with him only appearing in 12 episodes this season and the pattern so far between episodes 1-4 he looks to be showing up every other episode and his episodes if this pattern is true will be 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19, and 21 & 22.

**Slaps forehead** I just remembered there was a Superman arc in the comics involving Doomsday called Hunter Prey. It's even a trade paper.

Doomy most likely in this episode.

Actually there was a recent Superman/Batman storyline where there was a new Doomsday. Clark and Bruce were trying to clean up all the kryptonite on Earth to save Clark further troubles.

What they found was Lex had developed a "monster" from a soldier who was very dedicated to serving his country. Much like Wes in PROTOTYPE. Lex's labs developed this new Doomsday creature from kryptonite -- and he also emitted it. Through the process of "experiments", he went from a dutiful soldier, normal human being, to the monster we all know as Doomsday. Part of bringing him down was finding out about his backstory and finding his parents (I think) and they talked him out of being destructive. But he did a lot of damage before that.

It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't borrow from that somewhat. Especially the Lex bit. I'm wondering if Tess knows about this. And we saw in PROTOTYPE with Project Ares that Lex is not above experimenting with people's lives and twisting their ideals into what he wants to happen.

So Doomy's story may be the initial stages of this. He's been experimented on and doesn't remember -- starts having blackouts -- people get killed. He saves them as a paramedic by "day" and kills them by "night."

Since Oliver is like the proto-Bruce, it wouldn't surprise me if the 4 regulars so far in this episode are Clark, Oliver, Chloe, ?, and MM guest appearing... I think I remember someone in this forum earlier back, mentioning that someone told him MM would be helping Clark get rid of Kryptonite, right? And I think Allison Mack mentioned it as well at that Illinois convention.. so since this comic story that Baudy at DI posted seems to involve Bruce, it wouldn't surprise me if they had Oliver helping Clark and MM get rid of Kryptonite. Just a little speculating lol It seems really close to the arc on SV, including the Doomy part.

Interesting that i too was thinking might be the ruote they are going for smallville's doomsday. He was just a normal human guy and lex/33.1 took him to experiment on wiped his memory of all their events and he then broke out/was released and then turns into a monster.

As for the characters appearing i am going with clark/chloe(both in all 22 episodes), davis-doomsday, and then a toss between Tess or jimmy for 4th spot. i said this before erica from all we know currently is still only 12-13 episodes and we dont know if she is getting more, and since she is already in the first 5 episodes she has to miss a few between ep 6-10 and i think this will be the first one she misses. Then also as i pointed out with ollie between episodes 1-4 the pattern for his 12 episode series regular seems to be every other episode with him in 1,3,probably 5 he isnt likely to be in this episode. But we dont know yet with him. I just keep going with this every other episode their for him since in episodes 1-4 he is only in 1 and 3 and every other episode works out for the whole season and then at the end that makes 10 episodes for ollie and leaves episodes 21/22 for him to appear in both.

infact this will fir well withg SV storyline and will make lex even more snister than he was before

by end of series this davis bloome will comepletly transform into doomsday we know (that what SW told in his interview while ago)
