I was in high school and I believe just before O'Canada was played our teacher told us that a plane had just crashed into the World Trade Center. That was around 8:20 am CST. So there was some shock and theories about what could've happened. Then during class break in the halls, more information was spread. Classes were allowed to go into the library and watch the news but our teacher didn't, thinking it wasn't important and we did our work. Third period I was in a computer room and was waiting for the class all morning. We did nothing that class, I was on the internet just catching up and talking to other people. The traffic was so slow, and since the class was long I checked any and all media sites I could think of: Canadian, American, NYC, International. Then there was lunch, more talk. In biology some ignorant people jokingly wanted to cancel the test we were having because there mind was on the attacks. I don't remember what happened next period. I had last period spare, went home people were much more quiet on the bus but some talked about it. Arrived at home and went downstairs to watch the news and actually see the footage, not just still photos. I did see the third building of the World Trade Center fall. I stayed up all night watching TV, just wondering what the future would hold. Which has probably been a mixed bag since the five years of that day.

If one can believe this, then why is it so hard to believe that he and his regime orchestrated it?

I was going to start writing out something longer but I'm really tied right now so I'll just say it boils down to this...I'm not a conspiracy theorist nutjob.

Nutjob? That's a little judgemental. What about those "nutjobs" who believe Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't alone. I guess they're just conspiracy theory nutjobs too.

I love how in this country that if you have a different opinion from the main version you're instantly labeled a 'nutjob' or a 'conspiracy theorist.' And now, Bush has labeled such people as "terrorists."

It's good to have a passion about something Edd but don't offend people because they don't agree with your beliefs and then not expect to get the same.
Your sig is a bit arrogant as well,Learn something.

I didn't insult anyone. And being arrogant is what makes this country stay afloat.

Please take the theory bickering to the theory thread; it does not belong here. You certainly have every right to your beliefs, which ever side you fall on. The thread is to remember those lost on 9/11, not how they were lost.

Never Forget.

I don't believe that the Gov't is completely innocent or completely at fault in this matter.

I was near the Pentagon when it happen and it was total chaos. I couldn't get home to DC and I vowed never to be unprepared.

It may sound like paranoia, but if the **** goes down I want to be able to survive without the civic and federal gov't assistance.

Anyway, I'm out for the night. I have to be at work in less then 3 hours and haven't gotten any sleep.

PS
I'm working at the new ATF buliding and I swear they are building a fort :wow: The whole design is reminiscent of a fort :csad:

Someone had woke me up early that morning to show me the news and at first I didn't think that much of it, because when I had tuned in, they were saying it was a small plane that had hit the Tower and I was really just too sleepy to absorb what I was seeing. After I got out of the shower though and turned the TV back on, I was...at a loss.

I was suppose to go to NYC on a vacation on the 12th... but on a side note.... all i can say is "Loose Change"... i def think somethin's up

ironically.. bush now admits, and defends the "secret prison camps" ... people need to wake up... now

I was in 8th grade in computer lab. We were supposed to be using this math program or some crap, but instead I was surfing the internet. I got to Yahoo.com to discover what had just happened, the first plane hitting the tower. I told everyone, and we all were freaked out. An announcement was made and all t.v.'s and computers were shut off.

I found out later what happened.

Watch loose change..

That sounded pretty dumb. How they were lost directly affects to the people being killed, so its always going to be a part of it. "Loose Change" isn't as much a "conspiracy theory nut's idea" as it is a very carefully put together film revealing what happened. Everything that we wanted to know was out there, and the people who made the film simply researched all of it thoroughly and put it together piece by piece. It should really be the film that is the final dagger of what happened. But too many people label movies like that as just simple speculation, people looking for attention, jumping to conclusions, etc. Just watch it.

ya... you have nothing to lose if you watch it... those who won't watch it are usually just afraid of actually believing it

I've looked at the evidence on the site, and after watching 9/11 shows I just hope I don't have a 9/11 related nightmare with all the images and thoughts I've had in the past couple days.

I was speaking with a friend of my earlier about 9/11, and she asked me if I could remember where I was when I first saw the News broadcasts and found out what had happened. Surprising I could remember, that I had just woke up and was eating my breakfast when the news hit CNN.

So yeah I'm just wondering if people can remember where they were when they heard the news?

Wasn't there a thread like this a few days ago?

But I was at school. Didn't know till I came home.

lunch break at work, which would mean i was at home during the second plane crash, probably downing some food, can't recall.

was wearing a suit though, or maybe just a shirt and trousers without a tie, again can't recall...

There was, oh my apologizes. Perhapes a mod can merge the threads.

I was acutally buying my new car that day. I was excited, until they turned on the news and I saw what was happening. At the time I was a government contractor, so they shut down our place of business for a week. For like a week straight it was really crazy around work. All the security and searches going on.
