World 90's X-men Animated Series finally being released on DVD!

LoL I miss the days when the X-Men all used to just jump out of the back of the Blackbird in mid flight, no matter how high it was, of if they actually could fly or not... a lot of the time they only had a single rope to hold on to.

I know that HMV lists the new clearvision disks as separate items to the old ones that were up for pre-order.

It was with HMV. I cancelled the old one after you said yours had been dispatched. The clearvision one is out of stock, but I'm sure I'll get it next week now.

I'm debating if I'll pick these up. I have this and the 90s Spidermans TAS in box sets. I got them at a comic con bout 3 years ago. Now I know they are probably bootlegs, but the quality is amazing, they are in boxes that have individuals spots for each disk, and there is artwork on the boxes. There is even a upc number on the back which makes it odd. Probably pointless.

I got veronica mars DVDs on ebay that were exactly the same. Piracy has gone up market it seems

Cable and Cyclops are missing legs on Vol 2, and Cyclops appears to be piggybacking on Rogue on Vol 1.

The covers look different from the ones I preordered from Blockbuster. Maybe that was early preliminary art.

Oh, quick update on it: The first 2 volumes are releasing on the 29th of this month. No special features(as far as I can tell)

Combined, the 2 volumes have 33 episodes from the show: 16 in vol. 1, 17 in vol. 2 (I believe vol. 2 runs longer to finish off the 5 episode long Phoenix arc.)

This was my favorite cartoon show. I actually have all the episodes but I'm happy that it will finally be officially released . I might buy these eventually because it's probably better quality. I wish they would of continued with another season the show was so good.

I just hope when Vol. 3 and 4 comes out, they stack them with some great extras they couldn't get onto these vols.

Maybe they are waiting to see how well these dvds sell and didn't load them with a lot of extras.
