Calling them "dorks" isn't a good way to get your question answered. They're simply stating the fact that you've, somehow, missed the point that they establish Batman and the LoS as ninjas who use "theatricality and deception." Adding to what Snare said; if I was the evil leader of a destructive league of ninjas, I would have other people cover for me, too.

I don't see anything wrong with OP's question. For quite some time I didn't know if he was the real Ra's Al Ghul or if the name was passed onto Henri Ducard after the previous Ra's Al Ghul died.
