I am talking about ALL Illegal immigrants- those from the Middle East who travel to South America (or Mexico) and then move up. Those from Peru. Those from Mexico. Even those from War-Lords beloved mother country, Canada, aye.

owned yes, but who does the cooking? I would not want to eat at a chinese restaurant where all white people worked there, it would just seem weird. Same as a Mexican or Italian. I mean they don't have to be authentic but they should at least look the part.

True. I've seen very few true Mexican restaurants in the U.S. I'm actually not exactly sure what a true Mexican restaurant would be since I've only been to tourist type ones the couple times I've been to Mexico.

They can. In the short term, they might make larger profits from paying the the people the employ elsewhere lower wages. However, in the long term because of rising wages, from those employees having new skills etc, it will all equal out. What forcing all illegals will do to the American economy is force those companies that have been relying on cheap labour to produce their goods to either modernize or go elsewhere. Since there is only so much outsourcing agricultural companies can really do, they will modernize. This is something that they should have done anyway, but using illegals only delayed the inevitable.

For example, although China is a threat to American prosperity, it's probably not a long term situation. Within a decade, it might actually be more expensive to produce products in China than in America.

And riddle me this: if all Mexicans are "Americans," why are we having this problem? You know why: you're intentionally twisting the argument. We are not talking about what countries are on the same tectonic plate, and you know we're not. We're discussing a man-made border.

All Mexicans preferring not to risk dangerous crossings of hostile areas of desert can take the bold step of staying in their own country, where they actually hold citizenship. I feel little tenderness for outlaws and desperados and ne'er-do-wells breaking the law and then paying the price. If they want in so damn bad, go through legal channels - as most American's forefathers did. Did the early 20th century's waves of Italian and Irish immigrants jump ship and swim to the shore of NYC by dark of night? No, they came through Ellis Island - like actual adults, like repsonsible human beings. Not like criminals.

A lot of them are South and Central Americans. America is a continent. My Dannish friend is an European. Danger Mouse is Asian, even tho he lives near India. But the whole semantics are for another issue. Just pointing one thing that I dislike. US people hogging the "American" name.

Yes, we Americans have a way of Americanizing everything. I am lucky enough to have a Latin America Food store owned by a nice Mexican family who sell Tamalies and Mexican Sandwhiches. They are nothing like the tamalies you will find at most places - they are sooo good.

Cross the border once, its a misdemeanor, If you cross the border twice, its a felony. Both deal with Federal Law - making both crimes.

Actually, there will be. You have two phone companies with the same tech, same services, same deal, same signal. The difference is in the prices. 9.99 or 13.99 a month. Which one you chose?
