It changes on the minute, once interview they claim they never officially announced it, the next it's in production, and then the next they say it's been quietly shelved indefinitely.

I believe that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is in the making, that´s why Ubisoft is releasing the first game in HD on XBLA and PSN.

As for the Marvel Fighting Game, it looked awesome.
But, EA canned it, close the studio, Kudo went to MS, made Kinect and the rest is history

Indiana Jones getting cancelled hurt me.

The next/final installment of Shenmue as well, just because I was there with it when it launched on the Dreamcast. I'd heard it was supposed to be 7 or 8 chapters, but Shenmue 2 supposedly crammed what would have been Shenmue 2, 3 and 4 together. The fact that there isn't a Shenmue 3 is why I haven't completed Shenmue 2.

Remember the game This is Vegas?
It was being made by Surreal, for Midway (well, they were a Midway company, so it was always go to be published by them).
When Midway closed doors, the rumors were that the game was cancelled.
It seems that maybe, just maybe, it isn´t the case.
Warner Bros, not only bought 90% of Midway Ips, they also bought Surreal and Midway Chicago (the original studio, home of Ed Boone, makers of MK and now called NetherRealm Studios).
It seems that Surreal is still making the game (if you go to the Surreal website, the status of the game is in development), so, i guess it will be announced on E3.

And because the game is in the making for quite some time now, i guess there will a lot of changes from the original version

"This is Vegas has not been cancelled," said a Warner Bros. spokesperson in a brief e-mail to me this afternoon. "The game is currently in production."

You can say that the article you posted is from 2010 and the one i posted is from 2009, and you are totally right, but, if you go to the Surreal website and click on Projects, This is Vegas status is In Development.
It doesn´t make much sense for the developer to say it´s in development when it´s not, only if the site is outdated, which makes even less sense for a company to have a outdated webiste.
To be honest, the game didn´t looked that good to being with, but there was some good ideas in there....somewhere

I think the response to the XBLA release will indicate whether Ubisoft moves forward on a sequel
